Another Christmas...shoved to the side for 'more appealing ventures'. I'm done with that. I told them to pick up the gifts when they're around.

No big deal. Been happening over 12 years now. I'm tired of it.
I'm angry.
I'm hurt.

That's only the tip of a huge ice berg. I'm ready to melt it through and through and tear it up.

Student...Some words of encouragement for you...After reading your post, I can see you are feeling a lot of emotional pain & disappointment with those you love the most. Even though I don't know the full extent of what you are feeling, its clear your hurting, but most importantly Jesus knows those deepest longings of your heart. He is there for you, and will always be faithful to bring strength & peace in times life this. My prayer is that the Lord will fill your heart full with His Love & strengthen every area of your life that may seem weak or painful.
Psalm 42:5
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence.
 
awww it's alright. I will have you in my prayers may love and compassion be given to you in jesus name amen. just praise God and the pain will go away, I understand how you feel just ask God to take it all away and forgive them.
 
Thank you. All of you. Prayers already working. We may have Christmas on the 26th. I got angry and told my girl so. I rarely do both. I don't vent it properly to the right channels. My heart was broken this time and I got tired of it. Seems childish, I think, but this is a favorite time. To thank God and "see" the baby. I always took my children to the candlelight service and we'd sing by candlelight before opening gifts. All that seems to be forgotten as Im asked to postpone Christmas until sometime in January year after year after year. The only single parent, I feel pretty ignored by my own children. So thanks again for praying. I'm off the soapbox now. Blessings to all!
 
Lord touch all hearts suffering through this time.

It is a difficult tortuous time for some. May your grace and love and embrace hold them to your bosom,and comfort them.

As for me,may I focus on you Jesus,and seek to help others.

Chase all this world outta my heart,and may I be blown out for you. Set me on fire for others. May your kingdom be the desire of my heart.
