We could call it Piple... Or Punk. Both names are halfway between pink and purple.

Roy G Biv- you should have learned it in elementary school. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Indigo was grown as a cash crop and more profitable than tobacco in the Carolinas during the colonial period. Clothes trump smokes.

Red is the shortest wavelength of light, violet is the longest. They are in order of ascending wavelengths.

J is for “jungle red” the color Norma Shearer’s character gets her nails painted before she goes after her husband’s mistress in the 1939 film The Women.

i believe she meant not knowing how to make the word 'indigo' show up in that color font? i tried to figure that out for azure, too. and failed. lol

A couple of weeks ago we bought bananas and oranges at the grocery store. When we came home, I held the banana up to hubby, and said, "Knock Knock." He had this questioning face, but when he remembers, I held the orange up and said, "Orange-ya glad I didn't say banana."
