In this ever changing world, nothing is constant. What was once morally unacceptable in society, has become the norm of today. It's almost impossible to keep up with the changes that come and go at an ever increasing pace. We live in a world where people are elevated one day and pulled down the next. Even the leaders of the nations of the world can lose popularity at a moments notice. Nothing in this world is secure.
The only steadfast truth that we can build our lives on, is the Word of God. It never changes, its power and life never fades and its wisdom is everlasting. When everything else disappears, and comes to nothing, God's Word will still be standing, relevant, reliable and true. It will remain forever. That's because the Word of God is God. He is ageless, He always was and always will be. Everything that exists, comes from Him and is sustained by Him. He is never dependant on the approval of man, nor does He need him to ensure His great plans come to pass. So don't put your trust in things that are subject to change. Even people will disappoint or fail you. Rather, put your trust in the Word of truth that has the power to save your soul, and the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was and is and always will be the same.
