Am I going insane? (imaginary hotel reservation?)

Ok so I made a hotel reservation, and I don't remember what the heck I made it from. It was one of those little cheapie places that gives you discounts like hotwire, or hotels.com, ect.

I swear that I remember making a reservation, but I do recall that I was upset that the website wanted my card info right away. To wit, I don't know in fact if I did make the reservation or not.

Now, I have called several of the websites, I have checked online to see if any of my emails work, and I even called the hotel itself that I wanted to stay in to see if I had a reservation in there. None. None at all.

This can be good or bad. Good, could be that I ended up never getting a confirmation email and therefore actually didn't make the reservation at all. Some of the sites want money right then, and so since I have none then the reservation may not have been made at all. Bad, because it may indeed have been made on the system of the website (whichever it is) and will charge me $300.

I hope this is a good day and not a bad day.
 
You made the reservation online. That could have just been an error or something similar. It happens quite often when you fill in forms on the internet.. or you simply just have a short-term memory
 
or maybe simply 'cut-back' on the meds - oh the memories!, it is a lesson and a growing time,
little one...don't ever be afraid to own up to the possibilities, else they will ruin your mind...
 
I kept getting asked if I got a confirmation and I don't think I did. And there was no reservation whatsoever on record for the date. So I have to assume it never went through?
