I saw the singles' forum, but after reading the description--that it is more a place for fellowship with those content to be single--I decided to look for an alternative. What exactly defines a young adult? I looked for such a definition, but did not find one. To be clear, I am content in my singleness, but I certainly don't intend to be single forever. I also won't be looking for a ladybird here, but I'm not keen on focusing on my singleness, as tends to happen in a singles' forum.
 
Usually the people in the singles forum talk about silly and fun things. Yeah sure, sometimes they argue but for the most part they are really fun and supportive. Most of us want to get married someday but we have come to terms that for right now we just need support and I think that's what the singles forum is all about. We support each other through the period of singleness. It can be fun, depressing or exciting all at the same time. It's up to you to make the most of it.

From what you said, I'd say you would enjoy the singles forum. But a lot of us post anywhere, not just in that forum.

For example if I wanted to talk about college life or internships, I would post that here since this is the young adult forum. Those are topics older adults wouldn't relate to as much.

If it's a serious Bible question or comment, I would post that in the Bible discussion forum.

Anything from singleness, to cats, to food is posted in the singles forum. They talk about whatever pretty much :)
