I checked the statistics and 51% of Americans believe that 911 was a conspiracy. So if hypothetically 911 was indeed a conspiracy and the Islamic threat is fabricated then why are so many people on board but Donald Trump's anti-islamic rhetoric?.....hmmmm.....

Whatever 911 was it was a distraction and whats even more funny about it is that it provided the excuse to go into Iraq without any evidence that Sadam had any thing to do with it. The more I think about our current circumstance the more plain it is to me that it is about oil and the dollar. The dollars only value is based on oil. Without oil being traded in the dollar it is a worthless currency. Since the advent of the internal combustion engine the world has seen an explosion in population like never before. From just over a billion to 7 billion in a very short amount of time. Oil is in EVERYTHING.....from the toothpaste you use to the seats in your car. There are 7 barrels of oil in every tire ever made. I think the bigger story in everything is that we have a limited supply of oil. And when there is none left the world as we know it will be forever and violently different. The powers that be know that our time is short.

It may be what you say about why we went into Iran was true, but I think your prediction about the effect of low supplies of oil is off.
We are now the world's largest producer of natural gas. And we are slowly converting many of our factories and other fuel driven technologies to burn natural gas.
Combined with electric power and our huge reserves, I doubt this country will see much unrest due to a shortage of oil. In fact I think it will have a delirious effect only on 3rd world countries.

you can't make rubber out of natural gas. Even Saudia Arabia is exploring for off shore oil....which kind of indicates their fields are running out.

Oh, no --- the supply of oil is "loads-and-plenty"... ;) I believe it would be closer to the truth to say that the "issue" is about control of the oil...

:)

National geographic ran a story some years ago about oil being actually made in the earth. It sort of faded into oblivion. Maybe it was bad science or maybe it was because of as you say?

I know, but rubber is a small fraction of what gas is used for. And even that, I am sure there will be some new technology to replace oil in tires.

It is used in virtually every product you buy at the store. Building materials, roads....there just isn't very many things that are made without oil.

... all forms / types of rubber ... all forms / types of plastic ...

Oil has been the catalyst that built our society and is responsible for the huge population growth in the last century. There is nothing to replace it as of now. Maybe nano tech will be the next big thing but I doubt big oil will go down without a fight.

A lot of them can be substituted. It is just the cost involved. It will come down over time.

Right now...virtually everything I buy from my electrical distributor is oil based. And that is just one sector of society. When oil goes up...so do my materials. Then I have to pass that on to my customers. This thing is a giant wreck waiting to happen and I'm afraid that is exactly what they're going for.

This is your brain on drugs?

America kinda makes sense when you think about it in terms of a whole bunch of helpless children being manipulated by power hungry ideologues who have poisoned every institution in the land and who wouldn't know hard work and personal responsibility if it hit em in the you know where.

At least we have some people speaking out about this mess.

The 1999 defense budget calls for spending $270 billion—down $50 billion from the Cold War average (and down $100 billion from the 1980s average) in real dollar terms. In 2002, under the balanced budget accord negotiated by Congress and the White House in 1997, annual defense spending is slated to go down yet further—to $255 billion (in terms of constant 1999 dollars). Relative cuts in international spending over the 1990s have been nearly as large as these defense cuts. http://www.brookings.edu/research/articles/1999/12/winter-defense-budget-ohanlon

With the passage of the Homeland Security Act by Congress in November 2002, the Department of Homeland Security formally came into being as a stand-alone, Cabinet-level department to further coordinate and unify national homeland security efforts, opening its doors on March 1, 2003.

He began his political career as an intern for Congressman William A. Steiger, eventually working his way into the White House during the Nixon and Ford administrations, where he later served as the White House Chief of Staff, from 1975 to 1977. In 1978, Cheney was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives representing Wyoming's At-large congressional district from 1979 to 1989; he was reelected five times, briefly serving as House Minority Whip in 1989. Cheney was selected to be the Secretary of Defense during the Presidency of George H. W. Bush, holding the position for the majority of Bush's term from 1989 to 1993. During his time in the Department of Defense, Cheney oversaw the 1991 Operation Desert Storm, among other actions. Out of office during the Clinton administration, Cheney was the Chairman and CEO of Halliburton Company from 1995 to 2000.
In July 2000, Cheney was chosen by presumptive Republican Presidential nominee George W. Bush as his running mate in the 2000 Presidential election. They defeated their Democratic opponents, incumbent Vice President Al Gore and Senator Joe Lieberman. In2004 Cheney was reelected to his second term as Vice President, defeating Senator John Kerry's running mate, Senator John Edwards. During Cheney's tenure as Vice President, he played a lead behind-the-scenes role in Bush Administration's response to the September 11 attacks and coordination of the Global War on Terrorism. He was an early proponent of the Iraq War and defender of the Administration's record on terrorism. He became at odds with the views of President Bush for his support of gay marriage in 2004. Cheney was often criticized for the Bush Administration's policies regarding the War on Terror, NSA Wiretapping and so-called "enhanced interrogation techniques."[SUP][5][/SUP][SUP][6][/SUP][SUP][7] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Cheney[/SUP]

This is actually fairly easy to explain. That 51% is still ignorant to Islam and still thinks that they are just a bunch of America-hating animals. 9/11 was meant to get us in the Middle East, more specifically, it was meant to start a campaign against Iran and its would-be allies. The very controlled growth of Islamic Extremist is meant to keep us there.

People think that the CIA conducted experiments in mass psychology, brainwashing, and group manipulation because it was just curious I guess. They would never think that the CIA would use it to control small terrorist groups with minute power as a scapegoat to control tactically advantageous territories

Me and you could get into a humdinger over this debate, but i'm just going to point out 1 little thing.

There is about 10 gallons of oil in every tire, not 7 barrels, I think you mistyped.
