i'm not sure what the right interpretation of prophecies should be; i think they will be much clearer in retrospect than they are looking to the future. i try not to say "this is what this means..." about things like this, because i am not certain and i don't want to end up lying -- talking about doctrine is different.

there are people here who have spent decades studying things like Revelation; i'm not one of them :)

i'm the guy you want to ask about math lol

lol I will keep that I. Mind. Yeah I never did study at all, to be honest growing up it was too scary my old hutch didn't preach on it much

I've heard the Alexander the Great perspective in Relation to Daniel 8 many times.
The problem is it denies the angel in Daniel 8:17 & 19 who tells Daniel that the events related to him about the he-goat and ram, who are Greece, Media and Perssia regard the end times.
This is the same Greece, who is part of the Northern kingdom in Daniel 10 and 11, of whom Daniel is again informed by the angel in Daniel 12:4 & 9 that the information related to him in those chapters was sealed until the time of the end when knowledge of these events would then be increased.

Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

If the native space in which you are doing calculations is something like the integers mod 10, then 1000 = 2000 = 40 = 360 = 0mod10

The integers mod 10 form an algebraic group and each of the digits {0, 1, ... 9} are equivalence classes. 1000 and 2000 and anything else divisible evenly by 10 is in the class [0] and is therefore equivalent.

In the bible, all the nations on the earth, are established right there in the book.

There was no America back then.

What you are reading about is what John wrote to the 7 churches in Asia minor, while John was still living he wrote to them about this revelation He was given to give to them at that time, about the return of the Lord, or day of the Lord was becoming nearer and nearer, and that great tribulation was going on and many different plagues, and things are laid out.

But the answer to your question is no, America wasn't in the end times. Jesus Christ talked about the end times to His disciples in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, to that generation of people, at that time, in the land of all the earth that they knew around them back then.

Not sure what you mean, but there are people who use the bible, and see that the end times are for now today, for america, and the whole world.

Which is something I don't adhere too. I believe the end times are over already.

If you read Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 you can get a context, from each one of those chapters, and they are almost all similar and the same, so you can take three of these chapters and read about the end times, and see what is true in the scriptures that are given with-in them. :)

And the Revelation was the fulfillment of Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21.

America is like no other country in the world, we are a mixture of many different blood lines. The countries in prophecy are countries that come from the sons of Noah. America is not from one of the sons, but all of the sons, that is why we do not appear in prophecy.
