Its actually way worse, if something is evil in todays society, the perverts in control call it good. I f you take a stand for righteousness sake, you will be attacked by the dogs. The christians and pseudo christians are going to have to take a stand, and sadly 80 percent of the people here will jump on board the sodomite agenda, because of pressure and a lack of faith. That might actually be low ( 80 percent ) - remember that Illuminists are all involved with homosexuality and pedophilia. The Catholics are a gastly den of perverts and rapists. To become a 33rd degree freemason, you have to kill a child. Remember these are the sick queers in charge....... also the freemasons are heavily involved with scouting. - am I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? - Sadly most people dont want to hear the truth and yes, you will become their enemies. Jesus Christ is LORD!
 
there have always been gays in the scouts but they were 'underground'. i dont see the need to exclude gays from participation but that isn't the point of the movement. they are using this to promote the gay lifestyle politically. that is wrong. our children were never meant to serve as political pawns in a power play for promoting a change in leadership and worldview. the blatant propaganda of naming the scouts or any other organization as sexist, racist, or any other 'ist' to force them into promoting your own political agenda is wrong in any case. as it was the scouts could have been a place to possibly allow a 'gay' child to find another way of life. as it is now ...it is a place to promote the spread of the gay lifestyle.i hope the church will be blessed to form a similar group in future that will not have sexuality as part of it's program. kids need a place to get away from all the constant societal pressures about sex and be free to just be kids.
 
Hence why the held off joining the bandwagon for as long as they did. Another fascinating development.
 
I see this as throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Children caught in the middle. I think they should allow the scouts to continue at the churches but lay out some very obvious truths to them. They will be ministered to while using their facilities. If the scouts don't want that, then they can find another place to meet.

I think some future christians might have been alienated with this move.

As part of that program, each organization is permitted to create its own neck medallion and to award a purple square knot badge with a gold border.

The Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award consists of a certificate endorsed by the recipient's Grand Master, a Masonic neck medallion, and a Boy Scouts of America-approved knot patch to be worn with a Scout uniform. The neck medallion is a silver metallic medal of the square and compasses resting upon a sunburst and supported by a blue and silver ribbon. The knot patch is a gold colored square knot supported by a purple background with a gold border

KJV- Although the reality of what you say is absolutely correct, it is hard to get on board with you because your post is totally devoid of LOVE or GRACE.
 
AYSO, Little League, Pop Warner, Future Farmers of America, 4H Club and many other youth organizations are non-religious. Boy Scouts stood almost alone in that a new recruit had to sign a document saying he believed in God, would be moral and would be a good citizen. In addition, Boy Scout Troops, had to have a charter organization which in many cases are a church.

Many Boy Scouts were encouraged to participate in a religious project approved by their pastor or priest. They would participate in a service project. This could take several weeks or months to complete. Then the scout could were a religious emblem representing his denomination on his uniform.

I have spent many years in scouting as a boy and as an adult. I was even a Scoutmaster for 5 years. Both of my sons enjoy the outdoors and continue to backpack and go on hikes in the local mountains. They understand the risks associated with the outdoors and know how to do with them.

It is sad that the boy Scouts have had to bow to pressure allowing gays in, but they have left this decision up to each troop. I hope it will continue to influence men for many more years to do their best for God and country.

letter:

"It became clear during these last four months that the "progressive values" of the BSA and my Biblical values were diverging. So I decided to resign, regardless of the outcome of the vote, because I had lost trust and confidence in this movement's top national leadership..."
