Gods word and its effective power over and upon all creation to command from the beginning
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”
Genesis 1:3, 9, 11 KJV
The Word of God made flesh dwelling among us
“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Mark 4:39
“Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked:
and on the same day was the sabbath.”
John 5:8-9
“And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, ( no one touched lepers ) saying, I will; be thou clean.
And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”
Matthew 8:2-3
“And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.”
Mark 5:41-42 KJV
“And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still.
And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.”
Luke 7:13-16 KJV
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”
John 14:6-7, 9-10
“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.”
John 11:43-44
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
“And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
….And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.”
Mark 11:12-14, 20-21 KJV
This also is his word with the same power as he’s always had when he speaks to fulfill his words if we act upon them
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
if you’re a human you can be saved by Jesus if you hear the gospel and believe calling upon him to save you
“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?
and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:12-14, 17
if we don’t hear and know what God said in the gospel that promises salvation , how can we possibly believe and be saved ? Everything we wonder about is in the gospel salvation is in his word he’s able to do what he says if we believe that we should then do what he says will lead to our salvation because it’s certain
His word is always the same powerful and effective word to believers just as he speaks and raises the dead , cleanses lepers , heals the blind and lame and sick by speaking to them calling them to act in faith
hes calling sinners to repentance and life by his teachings and judgements in the gospel , calling us to act by faith hearing his word and following where it leads because we believe in him.
instead of concluding based upon other things listen first to what Jesus has to say about being saved and then you’ll know what God has said and what is certain and sure about being saved and inheriting eternal life with him in his everlasting kingdom
God Bless consider the power and consistant truth expressed in what Jesus said and then what happens after he says it it really is the same as “ God said let there be …and there was “ that power of creation and fulfillment
