Out of context. Jesus did go to hell/Hades/Paradise. Some people think Jesus went to the hell that is a place of punishment, but He didn't. The unrighteous were in Hades (and still are) but He went to the part where the righteous were awaiting their Messiah---those who had faith---to release them.

I mean lets think, if it is a cut up you tube things as they clai, THEN THE WHOLE SERMON should be there for the person to cut up should it not?

In no way did Christ descend to hell/hades, call it what you will. Read the passage in context.

"Therefore it says,“When he ascended on high he led a host of captives,
and he gave gifts to men.”

9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) Eph. 4:8-10

It first talks about Christ ascending. Where did he ascend from? From the earth to heaven.

Then it talks about him descending. Where did he descend from? From heaven to the earth. This happened at the time of his incarnation.

It is talking about how Christ left his throne of glory and descended to the lower regions, which is THE EARTH. It is very clear if you read a decent translation and read it in context.

Scholars also propose that this passage could be talking about when Christ descended back to earth at Pentecost to give his gifts to the church. This makes sense, in light of the last line of verse 8 "he gave gifts to men." His descent was in the person of the Spirit.

Whichever case is right, Jesus did NOT descend to hell. On the cross when he died he said,

"Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last." Luke 23:46

"It is finished!" John 19:30 Jesus died, did not go to hell/hades but went to be with the Father till the Resurrection.

Did Jesus go to hell between His death and resurrection?

No. His words stand until YOU produce the video. I find it very hard to see how those words of Wommack's can be rectified in any full context.
Besides there are numerous other sites witnessing to his strange teachings. The video was out of the horses mouth.

Uh..no. I am not going to make it easy for you. If you want to know the truth, and be spoon fed, it's not going to happen. You can sit there and let naysayers spoon feed you, but if you want to really get in touch with truth, and be blessed by God in it, then you need to motivate yourself and find it.

I have done my homework, by being like a Berean and checking out what is spoken against God's word. Andrew Wommack is a fine man of God and an excellent teacher of the word.

That is what happens when people produce manipulative, biased posts like that video. It does its job of poisoning people's minds against others. There is an utter lack of integrity in the one who compiled the video and the one who posted it. It's purpose is to taint, and it appears to have succeeded. It's the enemy's doing. Don't let him do that.
