I have the energizer bunny in my heart. I love to help people. For myself, I love to be productive. I love to go go go. As I've gotten older, I've learned a bit more about resting though I have not perfected it. For as long as I can remember, I have been tired. Even when there is no typical reason, I'm am tired. Part of it is a disease that I have, but I believe a bigger part is the abuse that occurred at night as I was growing up. Now, as an adult, my response to being chronically tired is way beyond normal. It's rage. I feel like a little girl throwing a raging tantrum. I'm not talking about a simple didnt get the toy that I wanted tantrum, but the I can't understand this kind of trantrum. It absolutely undoes me when I'm tired and really need to be doing something.
Right now, that tiny tot is raging and I don't know what at. There are 10,000 things for me to do, but I'm too tired to do any of them.

i know how that feels. i suffer from sleep apnea and, according to my doctor, even if i lose a ton of weight i'd still be unable to get a good night's sleep. the fact that i am depressed makes a person very tired. I can barely go through the day without taking a couple of naps per day everyday. also, im in my bed up to 20 hours a day each day. its been my life for 30 or so years, but according to God, that will change!

I will pray for you...
The fear of God overcomes all other fears!

I see so much healing happening in you in Jesus.
After anger comes the quiet, in Jesus here, you will find your rest.
You continue in my daily prayers in Jesus.
Love you sister in Jesus. :)

God bless

Jesus said cast all your burdens on me and I will give you rest. I went through a time like that last year, and I decided to not put anymore effort but to just put it all in the hands of God and everything went more than well for me. You can always put anything in the hands of God and He will take care of it. I will pray for you. God bless

I'm tired roll over, and they all rolled over and one fell out, 5 bears in the bed n the other one said, I'm tired roll over... and they all rolled over and one fell out....

Sounds like you have a lot of energy ...wish I had some of it :)

Getting a good night sleep is really important if you want to feel well enough to do all that you want to do. I'm sorry about the bad mental associations you have with night time; maybe thinking up ways of substituting good associations will help. For me, reading a enjoyable,light-hearted, 'happy' book , while sitting in bed helps me get ready for sleep. (No murder mysteries or horror stories or REAL exciting books.) Comfy blankets, pillows, soft lighting, maybe relaxing music. (avoid caffeine after 3 pm). Oh no, I'm getting sleepy already and I just got up.

Get some physical exercise during the day, before 5 pm.

Many people these days stay up all night or keep late hours and then wonder why they're tired. A regular sleep schedule REALLY does make a difference.

Praying for you Jordache. You're a special person :)

Losing weight would really help you to feel better:) Sure, it may take awhile, but it really would make a huge difference in your life. Especially if you're now taking medication to treat problems. These medications can make you extremely tired. But don't go off of them suddenly or you'll send your body into shock! Consult your doctor before changing your routine.

I'm in the process of losing 50 lbs...I've lost 16 so far. The only thing that works for me is counting calories every day. I also bought an ellipitical trainer. THESE ARE WONDERFUL EXERCISE MACHINES. They are easy on feet and knees...parts that are already stressed by too much weight. I can exercise with minimum discomfort.

I keep a food journal and write down everything. It gets easier with time. I was amazed at how many calories I was consuming and didn't know it :)

Congrats on the weight loss, though I don't think that'll help much. If I lose much more ill be a bag of bones. I've also tried to associate good things, but it hasn't worked. I've tried a routine but it's had no effect. I get a fair amount of exercise. I can be completely physically exhausted and my brain doesn't turn off. I rarely drink coffee except for the morning, and my sleeping doesn't change.
My body is just used to not fully falling asleep because I've ha be alert my whole life. Therefore, I rarely get REM sleeps. My brain rarely turns off. It's a buzzing frenzy.
