This is a thread deticated to either funny or meaningful stories about anime. I'll start. Back when I was in eight grade I did a report on anime trying to prove it wasnt just for kids. At the time anime people knew of was yugioh and dbz and they would proceed to make fun of you. Anyway I found some screenshots of an anime called Youko The demon hunter. I thought it looked cool but i really wanted to show it in my class. note this was 2003 before most streaming and a few years before the invention of youtube. Needless to say if showed that i would have been kicked outta school. A few hours ago i found it on youtube and watched it for the first time its pretty much softcore porn with a subpar storyline. I reported it on youtube so its probably not there anymore. The eight grader in me would have kicked myself for doing this but the christian in me won. I have to admit If I brought I for sure would have proved my point lol

Yep that's anime for you,each time it's a 50/50 chance that you'll get a show that has nudity,horrible no plot story,sadistic images,blood,and gore,where as every once in a while you find a farely decent,slight innuendo,romance show,that you like,or a really cool fight anime that you like watching that actually has a plot,or a plain ol hilarious show,and yeah you certainly would have made your point that anime is for adults,kind of no brainer actually because...
Ever notice that even in alot of "kid animes" that the girls wear skimpy style outfits that at the least show their belly button,some hint of cleavage or they are wearing extremely tight outfits that put emphasis on what kids shouldn't be wondering about,just to name a few off the top of my head,kim possible(nearly always shows belly button purposely) teen titans,(raven wears a cape and tight clothing,star fire wears shorts and a tank top that are both way short and tight,Justice league unlimited(too many women to name that have tight clothing or look like they are in under wear instead of tights,for example wonder woman need I go on ? lol)
are you talking about the originsl teen titans? as in the ones that have bearly painted on clothes? I read a statement on the cartoon network in making teen titans a more kid friendly show opposed to the comic books which have rather adult themes I think they did a good job on the early2000 titans. The animeish one. speaking of which theres speculation that there might be a sixth season, because cartoon network has been promoting the old titans and have every episode online. Im keeping my fingers crossed. With Rockos modern life being made into a movie Im hoping that all my favorite childhood shows come back.

Yes the original teen titans,and not much of a better switch changing teen titans from,action packed,slightly sleazy evil like and creepy,to flat out weird,creepy,non sense like and sick natured,I mean teen titans the original was bad in some ways but it didn't creep me out half as bad as teen titans go.

oh I know,slate disappeared yet they ended the show with the brothers of darkness,and terra was missing too,and people wanna know if beast boy and terra get back together,you don't leave a show hanging like that it's cruelty to us perfectionist type anime watchers,the story has to end with a fitting end else the mind goes.....

Im ready to vent now ahem i watched like 277 episodes of Fairy Tail right AND THEY JUST GIVE UP ON THE SHOW like legit just give up i wasted so many hours of my life on something that didn't even get finished i was mad. And it ended in like the dead middle of everything like they were like "hey lets find the other memebers" and boom no more episodes. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT MAKES IT WORSE? THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO START ANOTHER ANIME SERIES LIKE NO YOU CANT DO THAT UGHHH

Yep it happens,actually alot of the animes I've watched only had about 12 to 20 episodes each and then you wanna watch more but there is no more,then another just appears from nowhere,quite annoying especially when it's one show that has the qualities you like for example in anime I actually like talking and romance and one show had that and it wasn't action packed but more simple,funny,and romantic yet what do they do to add just one episode to it after the series,make a whe new series with the same episodes fixated on different characters except for one that is actually new,I was like what????
unlike the anime on youtube I would have to buy the whole new series just to watch the last new episode,which would most likely be about 20 or 50 dollars,what a rip off is my thoughts though my somewhat perfectionist mind is like,"you gotta finish the series"and that "secret anime" I am only telling to whom I intend to marry because it reflects alot about me,though it has some weirdness in it,particularly the ending episode is the only one that can get me crying tears,because of what it represents to me.
teen titas was the first and last series to do that. I've learned since then to not get attached to any show WHICH iS WHAT I'D LIKE,TO SAY, but I cant I was so mad when they cut Yugioh gx off for the still good but as quite5ds At leaast ithad a likale protag

well there is a movie with yugi/yami yugi,Jaden,and yusei in bonds beyond time,so it's not all so disappointing,it actually was pretty cool!

In my opinion it could have used more Judai and Yubel. I might be saying that because Im seriously thinking of getting a tattoo of Judai and Yubel lol. By far my favorite anime characters.

uhhh never heard of them,I'm still catching up I haven't watched yugioh gx or 4ds,because they aren't on youtube and I haven't found any videos to buy out there of them.
Judai is Jaden They just for some reason changed his name in the english. Yubel is a duel monster spirit that fall's in lpve with jaden and eventually they fuse together given Judai(Jaden) Special powers. Its all on Crunchyroll Japanese version and english. Another thing about the english I don't like is they stopped at season 3 and never released season 4 in the us

In the japanese version Yubel has 1 female breast and one male breast but it makes sense giving the storyline. So its kinda of suggested that she/he is neither or both. The english version gave she/he two female breasts which I like better because it doesn't promote people getting sex changes lol

well I did catch the bond part of the story line,that she becomes evil,so it makes sense that she might be odd looking.
