Weiner Confirms Sex Chats Are Real, Does Not Specify Timeframe

Anthony Weiner, the aptly named former Congressman of NY and NYC mayoral candidate, found himself in trouble again. Not six months after his resignation in wake of a sexting controversy, he sparked an online relationship in which he did more of the same...interesting things.

Nevertheless, he is still considered a viable candidate for Mayor of the Big Apple.

I am trying to find something more intelligent to say on the matter, but I'll leave that to the rest of you.
 
Oh, and his online pseudonym was/is(?) Carlos Danger.

I'm glad he didn't choose the name Ritter.

That seems to be the argument going about.

"Everyone is taking pictures of their genitals. Ergo, no biggy."

Never mind the fact the man is a husband.

Never mind the fact the women involved were substantially younger.

Never mind the fact a good many of have not taken a picture of their genitals.

It's almost as though we give politicians a pass at times because it will then be easier to justify our own moral failings later on. Call it a get out of jail free card.

Then again, lending someone like him any sort of credence is, in and of itself, a personal moral failing.
 
I also want to know where Obama is on this. I would hope a man so accustomed to putting his self-righteousness on display would at least publicly chastise the moral monsters within his own party. Perhaps this is because I still have an ounce of innocence to my name.
