Not sure if it is the Daylight Savings change, but I'm up from an anxiety attack for the first time in about a year...I feel close to as bad as I have in nearly a year. I never thought I'd feel like this again. Not to mention, I am concerned that I've now entered a phase of fighting off blasphemous intrusive thoughts, which I can't do anymore and I keep fearing that I'm committing the unpardonable sin which is why I feel this disconnect from God and terrible anxiety. I don't know what's going on. Spiritual attack? Seasonal affective disorder temporarily? Have I officially lost God? I keep feeling these questions or concerns and doubting God's mercy or goodness which also terrifies me. Your prayers would be appreciated

Abba Father I pray You would show GM777 how much You love him. And please train his hands for war and fingers for battle, so he can overcome these attacks in Your strength, and be stronger in the future through this. Thank You Lord, in Jesus name amen

Trust in God for your problems. Tell them to him. You don't have to own the thoughts that come to you, nor be disturbed by them. You can simply reject them as being untrue and continue to enjoy closeness with our loving Lord. God knows that these thoughts doesn't come from you. I know what you are going through personally because I am going through the same thing. Bind every negative thought that comes to you mind.
Relax and enjoy the fact that through Christ you are forgiven, no matter what unwanted thoughts plague you.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Just praise God when these thoughts come.

Satan likes to kick us when we're weakest and when God is about to show us favor in our lives. I have struggled with panic attacks for quite awhile so if you need to chat please PM me. :)

Praying.

I'm having difficulty with intrusive thoughts as well. I'm going to advise you to read the word out loud every time you have these. Yell it even. 1Peter chapter 4 & 5.

Gm777......goodnight hun. This is an attack of the devil who is a liar most ppl often get spiritual attacks in their mind what i will like you to do when you feel an anxiety attack coming on meditate on these scriptures:

When you hear a lie going through your mind, say out loud:2 Corinthians 10:5“Satan, you are a liar. I will not receive (or believe) your lie in the Name of Jesus.”
1 John 4:4 “I remind you that it is written, ‘He that is within me is greater than he that is in the world.’ I command you to bow your knee to the Name of Jesus and leave me.”
(Now you have pulled the lie out–just as you pull a weed out of the ground. An empty hole remains where the weed was, and you will need to fill the space you cast the lie out of with Scripture.)
Philippians 4:8 Begin to think on the Word or begin to sing a praise song to God. Make a conscious effort to fill your mind with good, pure, wholesome, and lovely thoughts.

i can relate on all of the above. To help me I have been reading the bible more often and really letting the message sink in- not just cramming as much information in as possible, you know. And praying sincerely & honestly.
As far as 'intrusive' thoughts go - when they come I find a phrase that i say over in my mind to push the others out...i have been using ''praise the lord'' or simple ones like that, something positive to overshadow the negative. I agree with what Pancakes said- reading the word aloud! I have been doing this! until my voice hurts.
Anxiety is something i have to face aswell but know that ''anything is possible to him who believes'' , '' with faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains'' AND ''ask and you shall recieve''! these things come to mind when i think of anxiety....i recall in the Bible Jesus says ''you have been healed because of your faith''
so, Pray for the Lord to give you strength and have FAITH that he will come through! If we truly believe and rely on God to help us , he will provide! HE IS there for you.

Do you know what trigger that you feel like this. I am going, through anxiety too , but I trust the Lord can deliver us

psalm 116 :1
I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

That Psalm is kinda the story of my life, but with His help we are overcomers of fear or depression, suicidal thoughts, whatever it is -recognize and submit it to the Lord. He does care, He does love and I am living proof He will not fail you.

Father, we are thankful that you are involved in every aspect of our lives, that You know the number of hairs on our heads, when Satan attacts with lies, fear and accusations, give us wisdom to discern and Your strength to resist so he will flee. Bless your children and calm thier fears in the name of Jesus who left us His Peace. Amen

[SUP]Plasms 62: 1-8
1
[/SUP]Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.[SUP]3 [/SUP]How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.[SUP][b][/SUP]

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]My salvation and my honor depend on God[SUP][c][/SUP];
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.

I think many find comfort in this when feeling anxious or attacked. It's one of my favorites.

[h=3]Psalm 91[/h][SUP]1 [/SUP]Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[SUP][a][/SUP]
[SUP]2 [/SUP]I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
[SUP]10 [/SUP]no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
[SUP]12 [/SUP]they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

[SUP]14 [/SUP]“Because he[SUP][b][/SUP] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
