That phraseology opens up a pandora's box doesn't it? "Anything and everything that keeps mankind from God is sin created."
At first glance this sounds so full of flowers, but the choice of word placement is interesting to me. Let me ask you this, "Would thinking of sin as a separating nature to God, and a judgement from God only of death be a belief that, in and of itself, would be part and parcel to your "anything" and "everything" that might keep you from God? Thus, you would need to alter its nature, doctrinally, and eventually its death sentence?
From a biblical perspective, I see it more: "Anything outside of Christ is a sin." It starts with Christ and then branches out to man, versus it starts with man's gain of God followed by His reasoning about sin and its nature. Do you see my point?
