I've been homeschooling a long twelve years so basically i've been homeschooling since kindergarten. Are there any other Christian homeschoolers out there?

I used to man. Went to public school after fourth grade. How do you like it?

It's alright, but I live in an isolated neighborhood with unfriendly neighbors. If you homeschool your kids make sure you move into a homeschooling community. I'm homeschooled because my area's highschool is extremely immoral and my parents didn't want me getting into any bad stuff. I'm thankful for it. It's a blessing in disguise. How is your highschool?

*raises hand* I made it all the way through. Try to find a homeschool group near you, there's a couple big ones on EastCoast US. :)

Well I have a split schedule where I go to a intensive math and science school half the day and regular high school for the other half. The regular is definitely secular. I don't like much about the school because they spend all their money on sports when their facilities are falling apart. The math and science school is awesome though! it's for AP calculus and AP physics and there are three people in my class. The teacher knows what she's talking about and I don't have to always have a filter on what people are saying. In public school everyone has a level to their worldliness (just made the term up) and usually most people are closer to the world than God so there's a lot of crap always going around. One reason why I don't have friends at school who I feel comfortable taking their advice or hanging out with too much. Bad company corrupts good morals. So is your homeschooling done online? That seems to be a pretty popular method. Or is one of your parents teaching you. In fourth grade my parents tried video lessons because of certain circumstances. My mom always taught me before then though

No, I went to public school for both primary and high school.

However, I'm curious about home-schooling. When I have children, I would definitely consider it.

There are some very reputable homeschooling organisations here in Australia, and I have many friends who have used them (or been schooled through them).

Today's society is going downhill fast. I don't believe we should shelter children completely- but why stick them right in the middle of temptation and corruption unnecessarily?

I wish we have Homeschools here in the Philippines. Just in case something gets out of hand, then we will have to option to.

I was homeschooled a little bit, but because my parents couldn't settle down and be consistent, I also went to public school.

I was homeschooled. I was home-schooled since 5th grade. It's been a blessing cause I got to learn from home, and I learned a lot. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.

I'm homeschooled(: it's my 2nd year of it! There's only one thing I'm not too big on, I don't have friends.

I was homeschooled until the seventh grade and went to middle school during the last days of the seventh grade because my mom did not have time to homeschool anymore and needed to get a better job to support me. It was tough a bit but ok. I have nothing against homeschooling and seeing where the world is going, it needs to stop being ridiculed by the media and movies. In my homeschooling I read some classical books like Red Badge of Courage, among others. As for why I was homeschooled, I don't know all the reasons why and am thankfully I don't know all the reasons. I might ask my mom some time but I just got used to it. Sonlight Curriculum was used, it was pretty good!

I'm an x home schooler but am now doing correspondence. Public school didn't work out :(

I can't wait to be done with homeschool. I perfer public school more or less.
