7 seems to be a complete number and 3.5 is a measire of half of that complete time measure of 7( based on the creation the seventh day became a day of rest and completion of creation )
the amount of sevens in revelation seems to suggest it’s never literal but is a figure that has meaning throughout scripture of completion whereas 3.5 is a half measure and 3.5 added to that makes seven again a completion
I think revelation should be considered in a perpetual and spiritual figurative frame given John is taken into heaven and the rest of scripture is from the position of earth.
seven spirits seven trumpets seven seals seven vials , seven eyes in the lamb , seven lamps of fire burning before the throne , seven churches , seven angels , ect seven seems to be part of a theme offering some sort of understanding rather than chronological measure of time
The law and prophets ( two witnesses ) seems to represent the first 3.5….and the. After Christ is taken into heaven and sat upon the throne the gospel seems to represent the second 3.5

Ultimately God sent them, same as the Babylon Captivity. He blessed Israel for obedience, he cursed Israel for DISobedience, and he forgave them for repentance. This is laid out in Lev. 26. God held them accountable.
Also, it was Jesus himself who announced the judgement - "your house shall be left DESOLATE." "Not one stone will be left upon another." As I said in the OP, 70AD was the "consummation" and "pouring out" of this judgement.

the second 3.5 seems to measure that time period from Christs ascention to heaven to his return to earth
Sorry but the Great Tribulation was not triggered in the 1st century, and that ties in with the Abomination of Desolation, which will be triggered by "the prince that shall come" (the Little Horn who is also the Antichrist). So this is a future event.
So do you know what this passage is saying? So far it seems that you do not. And there are definitely dots to be connected. So kindly make the effort.

I wrote this short study of Daniel's Seventy Weeks prophecy and just posted it in the BLOG's category. This is the proper understanding of the prophecy but don't expect it to match with the more common teachings most people believe.
Dan 9:24-27 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel’s seventy weeks prophecy is God’s timeline to accomplish the “restitution of all things”:
Acts 3:20-21 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Seventy weeks of years (490 years) are given to “bring an end to sin” and “bring in everlasting righteousness” for mankind. Jesus Christ was sent by the Father to accomplish this great work:
1John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
THE 70TH WEEK
At the start of the 70th week (483 years), Christ, now being 30 years of age, “confirmed the covenant” He made with Abraham.
Gen 15:5-6 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
This confirmation took place when Christ was baptized by John the Baptist.

Matt 3:13-15 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
At that time, the final 7 year “week” commenced which would bring an end to sin, make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness. To complete this mission, Christ willingly went to the cross at the 3 ½ year mark (He was “cutoff”). His sacrifice purchased mankind’s sin debt and provided the pathway of salvation for mankind. As a result of Christ’s death and resurrection, the Old covenant of Law ended and the New Covenant of Grace through Faith began. This change is shown to us by verse 27:
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Christ’s death on the cross caused the “sacrifice and the oblation to cease”. No longer could mankind approach God through the Old Covenant of Law. Now the only approach to God is through Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ who dwells in His new temple made without hands. That new temple is mankind.
Mark 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
1Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
However, mankind, who being carnally minded, prefers the Old Covenant of Law (man's works) over the New Covenant of Grace through Faith.
Luke 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
Our carnal nature has a built in desire to show God that our “works” can make us acceptable to Him. So when a Called Out believer attempts to combine their own “works” with Grace through Faith ("can't serve two masters", Mat 6:24), they “fall away”. This “falling away” is also combined with the deceptions of Satan who masquerades as Christ. When Satan’s deceptions run their full course within a Called Out believer, a worsened carnal state is developed.
Mat 12:43-45 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
The “seven other spirits” is a spiritual term that represents the complete deception of Satan. It is the spirit of antichrist.
This worsened carnal state is called the “Man of Sin” by Paul:
2Thes 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that MAN OF SIN be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Once this worsened carnal state occurs within a Called Out believer, it causes the “overspreading of abominations” which makes the Lord’s temple (themselves) desolate. This is the “sin that leads to death”.
1John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
This abomination of desolation is what Christ referred to in this verse below:
Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.

THE REMAINING 3 ½ YEARS
The first 69 ½ weeks of Daniel’s prophecy were fulfilled during the times of the Old Covenant. Since the Old Covenant is physical and outward, those 69 ½ weeks were fulfilled physically and outwardly. But since the New Covenant is a spiritual covenant (it cleanses the inside of mankind), the remaining 3 ½ years will be fulfilled spiritually and inwardly within each person who has ever lived (all who died in Adam, 1Cor 15:22). Furthermore, the fulfillment of the 3 ½ years will be broken down into two groups: The first group is made up of persons who are saved in this present age (the Elect). The second group is made up of the rest of mankind who are saved in the next and final age (Lake of Fire age).
This 3 ½ years is also presented in scripture as Time, Times and half a time, 1260 days, 42 months and finally 3 ½ days.
At the end of the final age, when the last person is saved, the 3 ½ years remaining of Daniel’s prophecy will be fulfilled and Christ will have put an end to sin and will have brought in everlasting righteousness.
The remaining 3 ½ years period starts within a believer when they are first Called Out from the world. This is the time of the Early Rain of the Spirit.
Jam 5:7-8 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James says a lot in these two verses and its meaning is hidden in spiritual language.
Christ is the Husbandman who is a farmer. The Precious Fruit of the Earth is the New Man in Christ who is to be harvested from the Earth. The Earth represents the carnal & sinful world. The farmer “hath long patience for it” because birthing many new Sons of God is a long process and is now just getting started with the harvest of the First-Fruits in this present age.
Christ even said:
Luke 12:49 I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
“Fire” is a spiritual term for the judgment of God. Without His judgment, no one would be saved. In the above verse, Christ longs to start that process of judgment upon mankind (The Elect first, then all others) but the time was not yet at hand. Since before the creation began, Christ has been waiting patiently for that day - the Day of the Lord. It is no wonder that “patience” is one of the fruits of the Spirit.
At the end of verse 7, James says that the growing season for Christ’s harvest of mankind starts with the Early Rain. It is at this point in time that a new believer will enter the Church. The Early Rain represents the receiving of the down-payment of the Holy Spirit. However, the Early Rain of the Spirit is not sufficient for us to grow to maturity and produce fruit. It leaves the new believer carnally mind and spiritually blind. It is at this time that Satan comes to us and causes us to accept His lies. We quickly fall away and spiritually worsen into a “Man of Sin”. This is the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel and Christ.
During this time, the fallen away believer desperately needs the Latter Rain of the Spirit. The Latter Rain is also known as the Baptism of the Spirit which is the rain that produces our salvation. However, this rain will not fall upon a Called and Chosen believer until the 3 ½ years period (spiritually speaking) is complete.
Later in James, he had this to say about this matter:
James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Note: The Early Rain falls upon the “sea” where unbelievers dwell. The Latter Rain falls upon the “earth” where the Called Out believers dwell.
Once the Latter Rain falls upon a Called and Chosen believer, they are “born again” and the last 3 ½ years of Daniel’s prophecy is testified to be complete.
The completion of this "3 ½ years" started with the Day of Pentecost when those in the upper room received the Latter Rain of the Spirit. And it has been happening over and over again down through this age to all of Christ’s chosen Elect. But they are ONLY the First Fruits of Christ’s harvest of mankind. After this age ends, all who remain lost will go through the same process in the final age. When the last person is saved, then the "3 ½ years" will be completed and these statements will be testified to be true:

1 Tim 2:3-6 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Abomination of Desolation
Most common futurist interpretation tells you that this is the Antichrist setting up his image, a hologram or statue or something, in a physical third temple built on the Temple Mount in modern day Israel. This kind of literal interpretation is specifically and precisely rebuked in John 2:21 -
"But he was speaking of the temple of His body."
And what is His body? The church! The collection of our physical beings around the globe! It is said in 1 Corinthians 6:19 -
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?"
This may sound like another internet conspiracy theory, but believe it or not, man, this BODY, our physical body as the temple of the Holy Spirit is gonna be the temple that Satan defiles by setting his image. In Rev. 13 he's gonna have the power to "breathe life into the image of the Beast", making it a living being. That's definitely not a hologram or a statue, not even a robot. How's he gonna do that? Go back to the original image in Gen. 1:26:
"Come, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness."
No matter how evil, how broken, how brainwashed, how too far gone a man can be, Nero to Hitler, he's still made in the image of God. But at the end times, Satan will have the power to remake it into his image. In the days of Noah, fallen angels were breeding with human females, and they begot those giants, aka "Nehphelims"; this time, though, through genetic engineering and synthetic drugs. You've probably heard about the mRNA in the clotshot, this is all but a test run for the real killer that will permanently alter human DNA, and thus permanently separate the recipient from God.

You are on the right track with your understanding of the abomination of desolation. But you need to continue with that "mindset" with your understanding of the other end-time teachings.
I'll try to explain below:
To properly understand "end-time" prophecy, we must understand that there was a significant change when the Old Covenant ended and the New Covenant began. All the "end-time" prophecies must be understood by in terms of the New Covenant. The New Covenant is SPIRITUAL and is 100% the work of Christ "within" mankind. We contribute nothing towards our own salvation.
The physical temple was for the Old Covenant. The new temple (like you pointed out) is now a believer in which the Holy Spirit resides. All the end-time prophecies should be understood as spiritual and the events they describe as happening "within" each individual believer. The physical and outward approach to Christ ended with the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant was man's attempt to be reconciled to God by our own "works". But once a believer realizes that our "works" will always fail in that regard, that knowledge will lead us to Christ who will do all the work of saving us. And Christ's work is spiritual because mankind's sin problem is spiritual.
Nearly all End-time prophecies are teaching about the spiritual pathway that leads to conversion. When you approach the prophecies in this manner, they will fit together like pieces in a puzzle. But the issue for most is they DO NOT understand the pathway to salvation. This pathway is the central aspect of the "great mystery of Christ and His church" (Eph 5:32). It is the most hidden teaching in scripture. At the core of the pathway is the teaching on the Early and Latter Rain of the Spirit.
The "end-time" which is being taught in scripture is the end-time of a believer's spiritually marred vessel which produces our carnal nature. It must and will be destroyed so that we can become a new vessel, the temple of God. That is what conversion is and what it means to be "born again".
When the Early Rain falls on an unbeliever, it is the time when they are "called out from the world" and enter the "church". Between the time of the Early and Latter Rain is when the abomination of desolation occurs within them. The spiritual symbol which represents this time period is "time, times, and half a time". It is also called 3 1/2 years/days, 1260 days and 42 months. Whenever you see these terms used in a verse, they are teaching about this time period which each believer will experience between the Early and Latter Rain. It is a time of drought and Satan's deceptions. Understanding this truth is key to unlocking end-time prophecy.
Matt 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
All believers, whether chosen or not, will experience the Early Rain, along with all the events associated with the "time, times and half a time". But only chosen believers will receive the Latter Rain (Baptism of the Holy Spirit). The Latter Rain is the same event the Apostles received on the Day of Pentecost and the same event Paul received after being in Damascus for 3 days. The Latter Rain (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) is when salvation (conversion) occurs. When the Latter Rain falls on one of God's chosen Elect, it causes a spiritual earthquake with lightning and thunder and trumpets. Their worldly carnal paradigm is destroyed and they are given a new paradigm in Christ. It is at this point that their sun is darkened and their moon is turned to blood. This is a spiritual event which happens within them when Christ heals their spiritual blindness and gives them "eyes that can see". As a result, they no longer receive the natural light of this carnal world. They now receive their "light" (truth of God) directly from Christ. It is the most important event in the life of any person. Only with this newly acquired spiritual vision will the scriptures open up to them so that Christ (the Word of God) will "appear" to them. In other words, Christ will no longer be "veiled" from them.
I received the Latter Rain on Oct. 8, 2005. It turned my Christian life upside down. All my understanding of scripture changed. It was an earth shaking event. I posted my conversion testimony in my profile.

I am encouraged that you are starting to see spiritually since you are correctly understanding the spiritual nature of the abomination of desolation. Most believers cannot see this truth.

“Early rain” and “latter rain” are weird terms. Physically speaking, to every human being, that’s the fluid in the womb and the first cry out of the womb; but to believers, according to John 3:5 there’s only water baptism and spirit baptism.
By the way, are you from the idealist camp? Idealism interpretation of prophecies is a heresy to me, which I firmly reject. It sounds like the New Age cult. We’ll be a part of God’s prophecy, but prophecies are not just about us. OT prophecies are all around the fate of Israel, while in Revelation, it’s about the whole world. The most accurate interpretation of Revelation, and the only interpretation I can believe in, is biblical interpretation. When it comes to some puzzling symbols, whatever OT reference says it is, then that’s what it is.

My understanding of scripture is "spiritual" and comes from having one's spiritual blindness healed. The spiritual understanding of scripture is taught in several places of scripture.
Also, I do not belong to any denomination or group. My understanding comes from only scripture. I have no teachers any longer.
Let me ask you this:
You believe that the abomination of desolation happens in God's temple, the believer. If it happens there, why don' t you believe the rest of end-time prophecy happens there?
Christ is not working outwardly in the world to save us. His work under the New Covenant is spiritual and happens within us. The few prophecies that are related to the physical Nation of Israel happen at the end of the final age when they are saved. Until that time, there are no prophecies related to them. All the end-time prophecies are teaching on the path to salvation for Christ's Elect.
As for the Abomination of Desolation, it happens to each believer who has received the Early Rain. Because the believer remains spiritually blind, Satan masquerades as an angel of light (Christ) and deceives them. So much so that they become "worse than before" they were called out from the world. After they start following Satan and mixing in their "own" works for salvation, they commit the abomination of desolation. In other words, they lose their salvation.
If the believer is chosen, Christ will come to them a second time with the Latter Rain. At that time, Christ heals their spiritual blindness so that they can "see the abomination of desolation stand in the holy place".
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand
In other words, they will understand what has happened to themselves under Satan's deception.
Paul calls us the "Man of Sin" after we come under Satan's deceptions and become worse than before. At that time, the Man of Sin is revealed to them. But since Christ is appearing to them, the brightness (truth) of His appearing destroys the Man of Sin whom they have become. This event happens at the same time they "see" the abomination of desolation.
Also, the Book of Revelation is the "unveiling of Christ". The book teaches the pathway to salvation for His Elect of this age. They must experience the teaching of that book for salvation. It is all spiritual and happens "within" each chosen believer. For them, Christ is "unveiled".
Because the book teaches the pathway of salvation for the Elect, it necessitates that the prophecies have been fulfilled within the lives of each chosen believer since the time it was written.
The book clearly says the seals are already open and the time is at hand:
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for THE TIME IS AT HAND.
Rev 22:7 Behold, I COME QUICKLY: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Rev 22:10 And he saith unto me, SEAL NOT the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for THE TIME IS AT HAND.
If the time for the book of Revelation is still future, how can anyone, especially those who lived and died over the past 2000 years, ever hope to KEEP THE SAYINGS OF THE PROPHECY?
Was Christ mistaken when He said "I come quickly"? Two thousand years is not quickly.
The truth is the prophecies were fulfilled in the 1st century A.D. and have continued to be fulfilled over and over again since that time. For Christ's Elect of this age, Christ has already come or is presently coming or will come in the future.
Rev 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne...
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Christ's second coming to His Elect will continue until the last chosen person is saved and this age comes to an end.
The book of Revelation is not teaching about outward coming world events. The book is teaching on the pathway to salvation. Those events are spiritual, meaning that they happen "within" a single person. Until a reader can "see" spiritually, the book of Revelation will remain a mystery. We must "keep the sayings" of the book or salvation will pass us by.

These Ecclesiastical principles are only valid through the lens of the "under the sun" paradigm which is Solomon's hypothetical exploration of what the world is like without God's intervention. An example of how this is not a truly universal principle is;
““For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the

The tribulation will be something new and unique.

Not at all. Typical agricultural terms that are perfectly well understood by any Israelite. Both are crucial for the barley crop and wheat crop.
Because my understanding of “abomination of desolation” is still a physical event in the material world, which is the modification of human genome. That’s called “transhumanism”. I suppose you must be no stranger of that. The Babylonian world system and everything else is real, painstakingly real. There’s no “spiritualization” of that.
A of D is undoubtedly connected with the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. Yes...the mark is PROBABLY some kind of transhumanism IMO. But the demand for all to take the "mark" follows the A of D act of ultimate rebellion (in the Jerusalem Temple) per se committed by the beast.

Very little of what you stated is taught in scripture.
As for the Babylonian world system, it is merely the physical evidence of the spiritual problem within mankind. Christ's work is to make the "inside of our cup clean" so that the outside will be clean as well. Mankind's problem is spiritual (means that it happens between our ears so to speak). The Law only works to make us clean from the outside-in and that will never fix our sin problem. Christ will make us clean from the inside-out. Only Christ can do this spiritual work and He teaches about how He will do that work in His end-time prophecies (pathway to salvation).
I wish I could help you "see" what I have been presenting you but the knowledge of the truth is only given by Christ. It is 100% His spiritual work. All I can do is present His truth as He has shown me, which I am always happy to do.
