I noticed last night that my lower left side of my stomach is slightly bigger...
umm told myself its normal!
googled it, found varieted results, but was just curious to see if its normal?

many thankz!

hehe, interesting post. What results did you find?
Not everything on our bodies is symmetrical, including the tummy. ie: stomach bulb leans towards the left side. The spleen is more on the left side, plus the colon curls up and around your small intestine and down again on the other side. Depending on where you have food being digested or where you have gas, the tummy will be more 'buldgy' on that side. Hope this helps. I ran to the docor once because my tummy was larger on the left side and I thought I had grown a tumour overnite, lol... doctor said.. nothing happens that quickly and she checked me out and explained to me that it was just the process of digestion. :D meaning mainly gas..lol. But.. if you are very concerned, go get checked out. :)

silverwind...I really like your answer...a touch of humor, but very caring, and informative!

themusicmiss.....It's never a bad idea to stay in tune with your body, and it's always a good idea to ask questions as they come up about your health or any changes you may notice. Early detection of ANYthing amiss, is always better for an outcome. I think silverwind is right, this is probably nothing more than digestion...but if anything concerns you, tell your mom/dad and I am sure they would take you in to be checked out.

I completely agree with silverwind .

One side of our entire body is bigger than the other. Look at your hands, your dominant side is a bit larger, same with the rest of you.

But , it is still advisable that you get a check up done .

God Bless :)
