has anyone here envious of the other living creatures for example the animals, the birds, fishes, the insects , for example the free species of the earth. How lucky aren’t they. They are so free to roam around without being stuck with this so called thing.

I've raised thousands of animals and have wondered what it must be like to be a ___________.
I can't recall actually envying them, but often tried to put myself in their shoes.
In my Funny, scary...Animal thread there are lots of stories of compassion.

Almost every living thing is prey for something else. Even the main predators are hunted by humans. So no, I prefer to be human.

i am not envious of any creature or human being. i would welcome having the eyesight of an eagle, certainly, but not envious. anyone is free to travel.

I understand from scripture there are many things awaiting us, perhaps these yearnings are a part?

The dietary restrictions alone would make me want to avoid being any animal at all. I'm kind of partial to the food I eat as a human.

The eagle can keep his roadkill rabbit and I want nothing to do with a horse's hay.
 
If I was an animal I would miss eating black forest cake. I would miss laughing. I would miss having deep conversations with my loved ones. I would miss dancing. I would miss my hobbies. I don't envy animals, but it would be nice to not have human pressures and stress though!

There's one opossum in West Virginia that enjoyed Cheese Cake a time or two.
