My Avengers one is in that picture ha ha.
That Jesus one has me cracking up though. His hands glow in the dark. I'm done. People are crazy.
I completely understand how you feel. I wanted to make movies. I would have dealt with California's costs. My plan my entire life was to work for Disney. What Disney created and how Eisner and Wells ran it is not the course Iger has kept it on. I was devastated last year when I finally realized that Disney was not what it had been and it was not the place for me. My whole life that's all I ever wanted and then bam. I'm still saddened by it. The agenda in that place is crazy and meeting people who worked/work there. One thing was I went to a career fair through my school earlier this year and Disney was there. They were so rude to every student and basically told them not to bother them.
However, the industry is in absolute meltdown right now. From media to games to everything, it's in utter chaos. I don't know what news you keep up on with it, but they're finding that sales drop when there's an agenda. The Last of Us 2 did horrendously and was discounted SUPER quick because of the agenda in that game. Movies are the same. Disney paid for a bunch of theater seats in order to make Captain Marvel look like it did well in theaters. SW is in the tank because of the agenda. I think the Fallen Order game did decently. I enjoyed it and it was well balanced. There's a sequel in the works. Spiderman on PS4 did really well but then they decided to "make him better" on the PS5 and there's been backlash on that. People are more conservative than you think, but in order to make a dollar they hide it I've come to realize which is sad. It also goes back to what the industry people told me in the class. They have to pander to the agenda. It's no longer about storytelling or decent narrative. There is a push for the letters of the alphabet and strong women, people of color despite knowing there have been some well-crafted characters already. I grew up watching Gargoyles who had people of different races and genders. Lara Croft was amazing in the earlier games, strong and able. Star Trek: The Next Generation and especially Voyager have strong women and people of color. This push for agenda is causing us to forget what we've accomplished.
