Pretty much everything by Terry Pratchett for the book side. If you like nerdy taken to the nth degree than randall munroe's what if and how to books might be good too. And for a younger audience I liked patricia c wrede's enchanted forest chronicles.
Tv shows, I feel like I prefer british humor but I really enjoyed horrible histories, ghosts (uk version haven't watched much of the us version), and Miranda. Also like the old usa network shows so if you've never seen psych that has some people acting ridiculous humor too.

I used to watch some of the old classic cartoons for clean comedy when the stand up comedy got too raunchy.
Rocky and Bullwinkle episodes were some favorites.
They featured Fractured Fairy Tales.
Some of the old cartoons had humor on two levels, so grown ups could get the jokes.

The reason I ask is because it is very difficult to find a show that is not flooded with ungodly content that is glorified by the masses.
It's not actually in the category of a novel being single frame comics, but that's about as far as I got were the illustrations .

I really enjoyed the books of his I have read - I will have to read more. The books are funny, but also quite deep, and a parody of our world in so many ways. I believe I miss a lot of the deeper meanings when I read, although I don't believe he had a correct perspective on salvation.
