Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is the latest to join the chorus of House Democrats calling for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to step down or be impeached.

Democrats have been criticizing Thomas for not recusing himself from cases related to the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot, after it was revealed that his wife sent text messages to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows urging him to challenge Donald Trump's 2020 election loss.

"Clarence Thomas should resign," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Tuesday morning. "If not, his failure to disclose income from right-wing organizations, recuse himself from matters involving his wife, and his vote to block the Jan 6th commission from key information must be investigated and could serve as grounds for impeachment."

The democrats are hypocrites. Freedom of Speech to them is IF we agree with what you say then it is ok. BUT if your wife says something we don't like you are to be impeached. They would love nothing more to have Thomas step down t weasel in another Judge on the bench. The GOP are weak wimps and think they will win in the 2022 Midterms LOL. If we have that long as a nation. THe GOP should be calling out this and pushing back.

Can you really impeach a person based on the opinions of their spouse? I suspect crossing that line would be far worse for the Democrats than the conservatives.

Of course they are. And the Republicans are downright cowards. How come they have not been calling for the impeachment of Biden and for the resignation of Pelosi since January 2021? The Democrats want to impeach anyone on the right at the drop of a hat, but the cowardly Republicans cannot even lodge a decent protest against any of the OUTRAGEOUS actions and words of the radical Democrats. A disgrace.

Clarence Thomas should respond very strongly to these demands for his impeachment. He should hold a press conference and expose the Democrats for all their illegal activities (and lying words). It is about time he pushed back.

I am being serious, not trying to be funny, but if you want to know something funny I may have been at a certain event described into the article, and I will leave it at that. Thank you for the prayer of mercy for me to the Lord my God, but don't worry I fear the Lord my God too much to go with a woman that has already become one flesh with a man, for that be adultery and then I would fall under the curse and endanger myself to be put to the Sword. Do have to admit though let's say I admire Alexandria's character and soul, though politically she is on the other end of the extremists' spectrum from me, I admire the zeal and the loyalty and the tenacity and the ingenuity she shows, we are not so different past politics. Not many women in my generation are like she is and that is said neither in anger nor jest, but is a lament.
