In one of the videos, they suggest that the tabernacle at Shiloh was a permanent structure.

"We asked Stripling if he believed they’d actually found the Tabernacle. He answered, 'I’m not ready to say I know for certain, but I’ll tell you what we do have is a building that is matching the dimensions of the Tabernacle. It’s from the Iron One period, which is the Tabernacle period of Eli and Samuel, and you’re actually standing right now, Chris, on this wall right here.' ”
“ 'So this entire area is this massive, monumental building. (It) orients east-west and it’s divided on 2 to 1 ratio, like the Tabernacle was,' Stripling explained."
This doesn't make a lot of sense since the very word for tabernacle, ō·hel, means a tent. For example in Joshua 18:1, "And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle [tent] of the congregation there."

Is there anything in the Bible that says the tabernacle at Shiloh was a permanent structure?

I got this from an article:

When the Israelites settled the land during the days of Joshua, Shiloh was chosen as the site for the Tabernacle that traversed the desert with them for 40 years.3 There, the temporary boards that surrounded the structure were replaced with stone walls, giving the building a degree of permanence. The only other place that the House of G‑d and the Holy Ark ever enjoyed this degree of stability was in Jerusalem.

Hello RA, I did not find it in the bible but I saw on other articles that the taberbacle stood there for approx. 390 years, I guess they deduced this time from the timeline of differents events written in the O.T. It was not meant to be a permanent structure but I guess it was at that time in history.

Cheers

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't; seems too early to say for sure. In all the interviews and articles I've read about it they always qualify it with "it's very difficult to say for sure."

The Bible didn't cover everything about the tabernacle. You'll get this information from Jewish sources.

The Mishkan traveled with the Israelites for 40 years in the desert. When the people entered the Land of Israel, the Mishkan came with them. For fourteen years, the Mishkan stood in Gilgal while the Israelites conquered and divided the land. Then they created a house of stone in Shiloh and spread the curtains of the Mishkan over it. The sanctuary of Shiloh stood for 369 years. At the end of that period, the sanctuary was moved to Nov, and then to Givon.13
