hi everyone, i would like to make a public apology to everyone invoked in this thread including moderators still waters and once fallen ,,(previous name was quickfire) i am sorry if i have offended anyone and my video i posted and the sentence i posted which was f- u and f you all was meant as forgive you,, as the YouTube video which i posted showed this, ( the new f word for today was forgive you, absolutely no way would i mean it the way people have though i have here,
i though it may add some banter to the thread.
i would like to apologize also for posts i have made to i was only joking though and it was by no means ment personally,

@prause i do like a bit of friendly banter between yanks and brits you posted a picture saying prince harry was a nazi,, i took it as a joke, and said are you a commi , it was meant as a joke, nothing more, honest i havent got a racist bone in my body,
i thought you and everyone involved in this deep topic needed a laugh when i posted the f you for forgive me YouTube video,

to everyone else i have been involved in some pretty deep topics lately that has kept me awake all night (i haven't been thinking straight at times (and im not trained in this stuff), and at times there has been no end of insults have been traded, ( i never wanted that just to talk about this in a civilized way,
i have had time to let this stuff go and other topics and i hope that everyone else can to , and we can all get back to being christian brothers and sisters,
me myself has always tried to make people welcome here when talking live in chat,, but in there sometime chats get heated
which cant be helped sometimes, and i understand why, because of peoples passions etc,
i have on many a time calmed the situation down and made people laugh with a bit of humor ,, i am by no means here to cause trouble, i have even donated to this site, and supported it, i wish you all well goodbye

Yes, there is. I know we disagree here, but here it is.
Gal 5:16. If you don't' think the Spirit of God is capable..... not much of a God then.... BUT it's promised, IF you walk by the Spirit, you are no longer in the flesh. That flesh is no longer there. There is nothing to revert back to.
Romans 8:9 shows if the SPIRIT indwells, the flesh is gone.
Col 2:11 shows how it is removed, not by man's hands....
Ephesians 4:11-17 shows the path to getting there.

I know I am not there yet, but I can freely admit that. I trust HIM to do what He said and to get me there. Now, not being there I have to admit the Spirit does not YET indwell me. But he's working me over on His way in.

Problem for most people, they are told, and lay claim to being indwelled before they are. Then they have to say the verses don't mean what they say, because they claim it but don't yet live it

You may WANT to go right, but you can't, I only gave you left turns. Do you really think someone can get where they want to be if God deems otherwise?

He never told us that the Spirit will hold us back from falling to temptation.

Gal 5:16 says that exactly.
16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

That would mean our free will has been taken away, and if that has been taken away then the glory in fighting temptation is gone.

No it doesn't remove freedom to choose. GOD has written your life out in advance, but it's written where you still have to choose.

Blessed are the weak in spirit.

Not the strong in Spirit.

It's by HIS blessing/hand, not by ours.

As long as we try to take control, we are trying to strip it from Him. That's counter productive.

Now, these are just two instances to back my point. I can go for weeks showing less point blankly stated instances as well. The word FLESH or in Greek, SARX literally means body. HOWEVER it's used as your "movement through life". NIV calls it Sinful Nature. That is one thing they nailed it on.

Flesh is unredeemed and yes considered dead when we are born again in Spirit

CONSIDERED appears in your Bible ONLY. You aren't born again, Until col 2:11 is removed, romans 8:9 indwells. ONE aspect of your life died, and another took it's place. Dead is dead. Circumcisions are permanent, they are not something that is there sometimes, and not there sometimes.

and we are if we believe willing to be dead to self and God does the operation as he did with Son to us for us, since we believed God.

To the OP. NO!!! With that said there are many Catholics that truly love the Lord, yet they are taught to deny the work of the cross and to throw up hail Marie's to all the Saints and are rarely taught to pray to the Father through Jesus Christ. Their doctrine is totally not Christian.

ty Severn, good to be back, and i appreciate been given another chance, religion is like a second skin to me, its like a cloak, and i guess for other people to, you have a majority which is in the middle, tthe majority are all the religions that are ok and let people be, the majority are generally ok with what ever if you know what i mean,
then you have the for people who are totaly for there religion they where it like cloak, they will stand up for religion and get in volved with dicussions from the protestants ( who are the minority) so 3 groups the majority (who are ok and take a laid back approach most of the time, then the for group who protect the majority, and then you have the protesant group who protest evrything, so you never going to have a perfect sinario where everyone gets a long,

Thanks, been learning and am ready to learn even more without pride and prejudice. Thanks for the helpful scriptures in truth of growing in God's amazing love to us all, in what God has done, not what we can do.
Lot of insight to the truth, as in there is therefore no more fight, seeing clearer and clearer as I continue to see that by God I am dead to sin flesh, and alive to God in God's Spirit period.

Where did you get this idea as in no one else has. For me it was through beating me, my flesh, and trying to do what was right that I found out that there was no way "I" could accomplish freedom in perfection of doing what was right
I thus understood what Paul was saying in the difference of Flesh trying to do and can't, and what God can do if I would submit to dying to myself with Christ at the cross as Paul did. and is well shown in phil. 3
And I know everyone that believes, will come to the same conclusion, and give up the self and start the exchanged life. Their life for God's life to live through them as God did through Son Christ.

What is exactly christianity supposed to be,? well christian means to me ! to be giving, to be giving means to be kind, to be kind, also means to be thoughtful, to be thoughful also means to be respectful, to be respectful also means to honouralbe,
to be honorable also means to be protective, to be protective also means to be loving, now that said there is no reason why we carnt apply that to our life, (life is religion) like it may be your religion to pray evreynight when the sun s going down, it may be your religion to not eat pork, it may be your religion not to steal not to lie . not to be cowards, not to bullies, so thats when religion becomes hateful and in the minority.
that is no longer religion and more like protesting protestants, all i can do is hope an pray you all see the light.

truthfully, God knows who are who, and ultimately it is God's finished work at the cross for all to see and change from unbelief to belief, and thus all will have their conscious choice in to either believe or not.
Therefore at The great White throne Judgment there will not be any excuses period. So all I can do is express the Love of God per 1 Cor. 13:4=13 that God wants to spread abroad in us through out us in new beings, born of God's Spirit
This is only done by first seeing:
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

How can anyone Love truly Love without first seeing the Love of God through Christ that God has bestowed upon the entire world? to all
