Are doctors and pharmaceutical workers exempted during Sabbath?

I was listening to a sermon about the great falling way. Many are going to come and say Jesus is Lord and lead people away from the truth. We MUST stay in truth because many come to steal kill and destroy serving the prince of lies.

It may be uncomfortable for some who are deceived to hear that they are but wouldn't you rather know the truth than follow a path that leads to destruction? ?.

To much focus is placed on trying to show who has the greatest bible knowledge or who is the best cut and paster. When every deceptive path leads us away from God's presence.

The apostasy and new cults, which are, actually, just permutations of the old lies that supplant Christ with the man and his exclusive religious organization, have become a wildfire, circa 2014. The blindness to simple scripture teachings is just astounding, and anything to turn your eyes to somebody else, other than Jesus Christ and the teachings of He and His apostles of the Bible, the first century Christian church. None of the Johnny-come-lately "prophets" of these cults are anything but phony baloney.

There are always two spirits doing battle when it comes to the word of God. One spirit is always confrontational; warring; hateful, spiteful, mocking, etc...and the other is the Holy Spirit, bearing its fruits: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-Suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Self-Control...regardless of the confrontation.

We can't help but bear the fruits of the particular spirit in each of us...whichever spirit that may be.

But God's word will only produce the fruits of his Holy Spirit.

The work of the Holy Spirit is also to lead to truth, in Jesus Christ alone, and convict of sin. There is, unfortunately, much dirty work to that end. This is for those of the Spirit to have to engage, when there are those who are not in the Spirit, are rather of the spirit of error.

While I agree with much of your thoughts and observations on medication, I will say that many of them do have discernable and necessary benefits.

That being said, I would say a strong majority of medications are intended to enslave someone to them for the purpose of financial profit for the system. And a strong majority of those medications are unnecessary when common sense living and health are accounted for.

Our family doesn't do vaccinations and immunizations, and we're all far healthier than those who do.

Of course, Matt. And by the way I appreciate your respectful reply. The over-arching issue of this world is that it is faithless and disobedient to God...so by necessity (to maintain a body subject to a cursed earth) such man-made "medications" are required, and temporarily beneficial. But my point was that such isn't *true healing* because (a) such medications must be maintained of the ailment returns and because (b) such - if taken other that exactly as directed - will, itself, kill a person.

This is to be compared with when Christ healed someone they were fully healed...or compared with when the tree of life will be restored on the new earth and yield fruit (and leaves) that will *truly* heal the nations. I'm sure there won't be instructions limiting how much of it one can eat or list a bunch of negative side-effects.

Jesus said it is not evil to do good on the sabbath like when the Jews accused Jesus of working on the sabbath helping people,Jesus said if your animal fell in a hole would you not help it out of the hole on the sabbath.

Jesus also said that man was not made for the sabbath but the sabbath was made for the man which people are more important to help them on the sabbath than the physical rest of the sabbath.

But the truth is we do not have to follow a physical sabbath anymore because Jesus nailed it to His cross taking it out of the way and it is now a spiritual sabbath,rest,by the Holy Spirit.

So do I. When I can get around to it. If not I have a day of my own which is a day off from work. I don't well my Church doesn't call it the Sabbath Day per se. We just call it fellowship. But everyday is a kinda like a fellowship day for me. I particularly like dressing up for it because I want to look respectful for my GOD on Sunday or any other day or night where an important congregation meet is appointed.

It is true, the Holy Spirit leads to truth, so does every word of scripture. If you eliminate every word of scripture except those words speaking of "Jesus Christ alone", you are not being led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is of God, and God is one. Each aspect makes the whole, and one aspect of God is not God for God is one, God is whole.

I don't think the road to salvation is by denying that God created a Sabbath. Faith is in through believing His word. You have stated that you do not believe that God created a day that is special, yet that you believe in Jesus. You can't have it both ways.
