Tongues are a sign of judgment not blessing.
Isaiah spoke by inspiration of the Holy Spirit and said that with their lips these people draw near to Jehovah God but their heart is far from Him.
I urge you to cease from your attempts to manipulate God and stand still that He may minister to you. Stop asking Him to do for you and wait for Him to ask you to do for Him.

Please, in assist and service to all of you, 'tongues' with 'interpretation' in the church, is a 'sign' for unbelievers to be 'amazed' and 'not judgement', for gifted tongues 'intercedes', prays and gives thanks and praises GOD (! Corinthians 14;14-17).
On the other hand, 'prophesy' brings 'judgement' on an unbeliever or outsider who walks into the Church (1 Corinthians 14;24,25), which practices such orderly 'practice' as GOD will and honoring CHRIST, in obedience and submission to HIS word/teaching of the New Covenant/Testament/Agreement, for gifted prophesy 'edifies', bringing everyone some, 'revelation' or 'knowledge' or 'prophecy' or teaching (1 Corinthians 14;6).
