I am happy to see that you consider them, the citizens, to be victims. To listen to many "Christians" and their ideologies, those citizens seem to be nothing but collateral damage or some sort of incidental side effect in what they consider to be necessary wars. In other words, I see no value for human life in many who proclaim the name of Christ nowadays. Instead, I see an ever-increasing multitude of blood-thirsty warmongers, driven by their faulty biblical interpretations to the point where they would rather see people wiped off the face of the earth than be saved through the preaching of the gospel. I have already made my observations and opinions clear, to no seeming avail, so I see no need to say anything else regarding this matter.
Wow! Very rare i say this but your reply makes me wonder if we're long, lost kin to each other. Yep, they both are true victims, i personally question if politicians actually have real power, i do believe Satan and his cohorts are the ones really in control.
There's nothing we can do about what's happening but we can choose to reject the lies so often told about horrific events. I'm a newish Christian and it rocks to know that the LORD will step in and sort it all out when the time is right.
More than happy to say i no longer have the waiting for the hammer to fall feeling, it'll be something beautiful and wondrous instead.

Hopefully, we are "recently saved kin to each other" as brothers in Christ, assuming that you are a male. If not, then brother and sister in Christ.

I understand your point but one must also consider that one is a militarized state where everyone must serve, I think this changes the victim status argument.

Siblings in Christ friend, i probably am your older sister type. God's blessings and all that's good from me too, it's becoming increasingly rare to find people who think rather than react.

I understand and appreciate your point too, but there is a difference between being forced to serve in the military and willingly choosing to do so. There are a lot of Israelis who are opposed to all of the warmongering, and I have personally met some young Israelis who were forced to serve militarily.

If I read the other post correctly it asserted both "as a group" as victims, of course there are always outliers.

But historically speaking, meaning going back to the general starting point of this land conflict, there is only one victim group who were sold out on all sides.

Thought i'd posted this but seems i didn't:
It's interesting to me that so many place faith in politics and politicians, when we know the world currently lies in the power of Satan. Also amazed by how tribal people can be about their fave political party or politician, put not your faith in earthling man really resonates with me.
Personally been accused of being too right wing/left wing/centrist too, which seems good to me. My choices are based on what seems logical, fair, of worth etc, rather than tribal or other emotive reactions.

As before, I had to look up one of the words you used because I wasn't sure what an "outlier" is. Sorry, I might have some godly wisdom, but otherwise I can be an absolute idiot or ignoramus. I understand how you read my post and came to that conclusion, but in the post that I responded to, there were those who were described as being "victims of political power games." In my mind, I saw a distinction between citizens or non-politicians and politicians, and that was the distinction that I was trying to describe. I understand that the citizens are forced to served militarily, but I still see a distinction between politicians and those in the military, even though the latter is the powerful arm of the former. Anyway, I don't even know what I am saying anymore. 🤣 I am just opposed to those who love war and devalue human life, especially when their justification for it is a totally misinterpreted portion of scripture. In other words, I am greatly at odds with "Christian Zionists" per the definition I gave of them previously on this thread. Or some other thread. I can't remember which.

Really think you are far from an idiot or ignoramus friend and you're spot on. I've been politically and socially aware since very young and am amazed most people think, maybe thought now, political systems are designed for our well being. Yes, it's ordinary Palestinians and Israelis who concern me, i think they have both suffered so much for geopolitical power and domination.
I'm surprised more people don't realise these things, Winston Churchill called the "hidden hand" the High Cabal, Benjamin Disraeli said this in a letter to a friend:
"So you see, my dear Coningsby, that the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes."
However, i think what Woodrow Wilson said is the most extraordinary out of these three:
"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid oF something.
They know that there is a power somewhere so organised, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."
This book about the origins of the French Revolution, which i'm surprised is still on Archive.org might interest you. It was written by John Robison, who might have been an insider rather than whistleblower, however, i do think controlled oppo. is an overused, often inaccurate term. Posting a link to the book which was written in 1798: https://archive.org/details/proofsofconspira00r/mode/2up
God's blessings and all that's good from me to you.
