so you mean what?
Pick anything you like about denominations you don't approve of. Don't worry, someone will soon come along to point out something you are doing that THEY don't like. And the rest will point at my denomination, letting me know I am hell-bound..... for whatever reason is popular this week.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, take a look at your denomination. Do they preach works or the cross and then read the bible. Your denomination places faith in keeping a day rather than the cross and the work performed on it. Others place their faith in water baptism again a work of the flesh. Their is no work we can do, if we could there would have been no need for the cross. Am I making sense?

You are making sense.....just no need to paint with such a broad brush.

Yeah, I think fretting over a specific day to worship is kind of unnecessary. For years, I went to church on Thursday nights because we both worked weekends, and now I sometimes don't make Sundays with everyone else. But I have a suspicion that God just slowly shakes His head at all our various and exaggerated contortions to be "correct".

there's , as always, a few ekklesia yahweh guards for his testimony in every nation that have avoided

this difficulties (though they live with many others, like threats daily to their lives),

and they live in union with yahshua in yahweh (no arguments here - look up how many times in the NT this is written - most never even read it nor realize it if they do)

and do all the time as yahshua says, even every day. always in line with all of torah (scripture). when there's
a question, they do like joseph and daniel and the apostles (when the apostles acted right) and the

answer comes from yahweh - (like the interpretation yahweh gave of the dreams - not by man's doing, but by yahweh; so too every answer for the ekklesia).

as yahshua always said, seek and keep on seeking (from yahweh), and you shall find.... that's always true> yahweh always breathes the truth when his sons rely on him and trust him for all things , and always perfectly and not divided.

Well according to the SDA you are in sin, because you have not kept the Sabbath and they don't know what the Sabbath is. My people perish for the lack of knowledge.

I'm wondering why the OP title asks a question, which the OP answers, and then disappears?

I know some wonderful SDA, and they love Jesus. I guess that is what counts, right?

Yeah the Sunday only social clubs really annoy me....years ago when I was an assistant Pastor in a small rural area, I asked our board and my pastor if I could find out why the younger married adult crowd-ages 18-28 were not attending Services on Sunday AM. The large majority were married, worked in manufacturing, and had to work on Saturdays & Sundays .....but had Fridays off....I asked them if they would commit to a Friday evening service that would start around 5 and get out between 6-7. Our Fri night lights service was a huge hit...even during high school football season....

In fact it was really a good thing because our older, congregation members supported it 100% and they could enjoy their service on Sunday AM.

At the apex we were running 75-150 on those Fri night services...

I am so glad I am not bound by the law....

Cult comes from the Latin word 'cultus', in its original use it meant an act of honoring or worship, reverance, adoration, veneration; loyalty. (Wiktionary.org)

the modern use of the term usually refers to a group of religious who are unorthodox in their doctrine and dogmas. The SDA apologists that I have meant and read are vehemently opposed to traditional orthodox churches, especially the Catholic Church.

Many cults came into existence during the spiritual revival in 19th century America, SDA, Latter Day Saints and Jehovah Witness being the largest of the group. All have one thing in common their founders were all proven to be false prophets and teachers denying many of the orthodox teaching of the established churches.

i believe such cults gained popularity because of the corruption within traditional churches, which cause people to search for the true church in the midst of a fallen christendom.

Christ be with you always.

Read this persons other posts and his knowledge is not that of a 18 year old 6 month babe in Christ....troll alert
I wouldn't lie about my age lol..."6 month babe in christ". I've been reading the bible for a long time now. I've watched hundreds of videos on doctrinal debates, info about certain cults etc.

Sorry I was watching friends on Netflix :)

Ellen White founded the Seventh-day Adventist church and members must vow
to believe that she was a prophet! From the 27 Fundamental beliefs, #17 "The gift
of Prophecy: One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. This gift is an identifying
mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White.
As the Lord's messenger, her writings are a continuing and authoritative source of
truth which provide for the church comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction."

The most potent blasphemy of Ellen G. White:
On page 481 of 'Great Controversy' (1927 ed.) Mrs. White says, "When Christ by virtue of His own blood removes the sins of His people from the heavenly sanctuary at the close of His ministration, He will place them upon Satan, who in execution of the judgment, must bear the final penalty."
What does the Bible say?
1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
If a SDA follower believes Ellen G. White in the above statement, they are damned to hell. There is no hope for them.

There are two distinctive doctrines of the SDA.20 First and foremost is "The Investigative Judgment."
This is the unbiblical concept that in 1844 Jesus entered "the second and last phase" of His atoning ministry — the work of investigative judgment. Instead of returning to earth on October 22, 1844, as William Miller predicted, Jesus entered the Holy of Holies in Heaven and began a review of the works of all believers who have ever lived to determine how faithful they were to the commandments of God. "Sins that have not been repented of and forsaken will not be pardoned and blotted out of the books of record, but will stand to witness against the sinner."21
According to Ellen White, a person must believe this doctrine to be saved:
"All need a knowledge of the position [in the Holy of Holies] and work [investigative judgment] of their great High Priest. Otherwise it will be impossible for them to exercise the faith which is essential at this time or to occupy the position which God designs for them to fill."22

Is seventh day Adventists in the bible? Did Jesus Christ mention it?

Not by name. He did say "watch out for wolves in sheeps clothing" and were he started talking about false prophets. If you do your research the 3 biggest cults of today: Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Mormons they all have made numerous prophecies, which all failed, they are all legalstic and demand a lot from its members. Leaving will result in excommunication. They ALL believe In a works based salvation. They all have a distorted view of salvation and the Trinity (SDAs do believe in the Trinity but they used believe not sure if they still do that he is Michael the archangel). I think it's weird too that they all sprouted in the 1800s. I think Christians need to be warned about them. Espically since 2 of them go door to door and are growing In membership compared to mainstream Christianity.

I wonder why that is?

I've been busy on other threads. I will shortly take this one to task. It seems like this topic might as well have been taken to the already existing one about SDA's. Oh well. I need a break, after which we can begin a more thorough examination of the accusations brought forward.

"Bring accusations." Isn't that what Satan delights in doing?

If people would just read their Bible and attend Bible classes, I think God made it pretty simple what we are to do, but people make it complicated by implementing their own ideas and create division. Read and obey the bible, simple.

Shucks... according to many people, I'm always in sin about SOMETHING.

I guess it's supposed to bother me?

Oh! Oh! My turn to pick something! Okay um... your hair! I don't like your hair and you're going to hell for fixing it that way because I can prove the ancient babylonians fixed their hair the exact same way. Yeah, it was part of their appearance they had to fix their hair that way when they went to the temple to worship their gods. Oooooh you're in trouble now you HAIRetic!

Seriously, is this the best we can do? Yet another thread about SDA? It gets monotonous. If we must argue can't we at least find something new to yell at each other over?
