So it takes pages to deny what the bible clearly teaches as truth? of course!

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

She was not denying anything, or addressing the verse you just supplied. You have supplied it to maintain your accusation, not by way of any true knowledge or pure intent. You simply want to be right. Are you saying EGW does not agree with the above scripture? Do you speak such out of knowledge or ignorance?

Lift Him Up, Page 319

Type met antitype in the death of Christ, the Lamb slain for the sins of the world. Our great High Priest has made the only sacrifice that is of any value in our salvation. When He offered Himself on the cross, a perfect atonement was made for the sins of the people. We are now standing in the outer court, waiting and looking for that blessed hope, the glorious appearing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. No sacrifices are to be offered without, for the great High Priest is performing His work in the Most Holy Place. In His intercession as our advocate, Christ needs no man’s virtue, no man’s intercession. He is the only sin-bearer, the only sin-offering. Prayer and confession are to be offered only to Him who has entered once for all into the Most Holy Place. He will save to the uttermost all who come to Him in faith. He ever liveth to make intercession for us....

The mightiest created intellect cannot comprehend God; words from the most eloquent tongue fail to describe Him.... Men have only one Advocate, one Intercessor, who is able to pardon transgression. Shall not our hearts swell with gratitude to Him who gave Jesus to be the propitiation for our sins? Think deeply upon the love that the Father has manifested in our behalf, the love that He has expressed for us. We can not measure this love; for measurement there is none. Can we measure infinity? We can only point to Calvary, to the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world....
No middleman comes between the sinner and Christ.... Christ Himself is our Advocate. All that the Father is to His Son He is to those whom His Son in humanity represented. In every line of His work Christ acted as a representative of the Father. He lived as our substitute and surety. He labored as He would have His followers labor, unselfishly, appreciating the value of every human being for whom He suffered and died (The Signs of the Times, June 28, 1899).

The Acts of the Apostles, Page 246

Behold the apostle preaching in the synagogue at Corinth, reasoning from the writings of Moses and the prophets, and bringing his hearers down to the advent of the promised Messiah. Listen as he makes plain the work of the Redeemer as the great high priest of mankind—the One who through the sacrifice of His own life was to make atonement for sin once for all, and was then to take up His ministry in the heavenly sanctuary. Paul’s hearers were made to understand that the Messiah for whose advent they had been longing, had already come; that His death was the antitype of all the sacrificial offerings, and that His ministry in the sanctuary in heaven was the great object that cast its shadow backward and made clear the ministry of the Jewish priesthood.

I have only been to one SDA church, but they seemed to at least TRY to fulfill what their web site says they believe in. Go to the St. Petersburg site, then open <ABOUT US>, and read the first thing in their little list (about the third paragraph down)

I see that coming from some SDA's here, but not so much from others.
Its kinda like the RCC for me...I have tried to learn to accept the personal faith of individuals and edify that while making clear I can never accept the doctrines and teachings of their group... Its a line that's hard to balance at times. But when they try to promote the doctrines of their group, I usually take a firm stand against that.

Like I said...all those words to confuse and deny the simple truth in Christ!

Yes, if all we do is go read the SoF of a denomination, then we still know almost nothing about the people in that building down the block.

I say this sadly, but you must really embarrass other SDA's.

Insults are a poor argument. Everything I stated which you replied to was truth, if any are embarrassed by the truth, that is their problem not mine. Those who spread lies will not be found guiltless before God. I am not an SDA because of what other people, SDA's included think of me. I am one because they have the truth. The truth offends in this world, there is nothing any of us can do about that. Jesus Christ demonstrated perfect love in human flesh, it required that He speak the truth, and we condemned and crucified Him for it. He has told us unfortunately, that we can expect the same for sharing the same.

Yea, that makes sense in your own mind I guess. I believe the above scripture, so did EGW, you may of course say and accuse whatever you wish.

Well she clearly denied the truth..and you have been deceived by the spirit of error that taught her to twist the truth of the gospel.

No its takes some real study of the issues and it takes a love for the truth and desire to see the true gospel of Jesus Christ preserved...

2Jo 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 ¶ If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Like all cults, they claim if they don't agree with their cults message then they are disagreeing with God.

Yes, I know, coming from the expert who admittedly has never read her writings.

Like all cults, they claim if they don't agree with their cults message then they are disagreeing with God.

I never do or have spoken on any boards as from my denomination or form EGW. I always and only use the bible. Every time I address either my denomination or the writings of EGW it is only in response to others accusations which I almost always find to be twisted facts or straight up lies. I take it you are not going to respond or dialogue at all concerning your original accusations, since that would require real time and effort. Please do correct me if I am wrong by doing so.

Are you suggesting from your above statement that one can bear false witness while serving God? That is the issue you addressed. It has nothing to do with denominations or cults, but the word of God which says we should not bear false witness. Are all who defend such, members of a cult? If you cannot defend your accusations, but expect everyone to just believe what you say just because you said it, are you not acting just like a cult leader? Are you above defending your own words?

Here is a book that you might review in this regard, called Lying for God. It is about the Seventh Day Adventist church.

Personally I don't trust them much as an organization, although I have met some very nice people who are SDA. I received flyers announcing Bible studies by them, where they failed to identify their denominational affiliation. That indicates some level of deceptive behavior on their part. I talked to a Seventh Day Adventist friend about this and he admitted that they do in fact practice this sort of thing because they know they have a reputation as a cult.

In addition, the Church's official position is that those who fail to keep the Saturday Sabbath in the end times are under the mark of the Beast and will lose their salvation.

I also wonder if anyone who presses the Sabbathkeeping issue really understands justification by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
