Let go and let God? Somewhere down the line we let go of our intellectual processes. Let go of the steering wheel and see how far you go before you wind up in the ditch. Just have faith. But In who and what? You must have some kind of proof before you believe in something. Of course basic proof of God is inherent, which is why we're so dumb concerning the Bible. Awareness of values is proof because values can't be derived from non-being. They apply to, and so came from... a central being. Descarte's "I think, therefore I am" could have also been rendered "I think, therefore God is." But we've left the intellectual side of Christianity so far that many of you don't even know what I'm saying now. Thomas Aquinas was one of the most devoted of theologian priests, but developed the famous 5-part proof of God using logic and physics. How dare he use the intellect concerning religion! In that age though you could do it. Now it is forbidden. Technical data is OK, but not thinking. Memorizing text is mechanical and doesn't involve cognizance. When the intellect is not involved, Christianity becomes a cult, and not a religion.

Pretty arrogant and condescending. Doubt you'll reach anyone when you talk down to people while exalting your own self and human intellect. All of that talk and yet you sit on a self made throne of pride.

hmm... for one who goes by the title truth seer you appear to be pretty blind by my standards.
You think a majority of Christians have tossed aside the intellectual? to have utter and complete blind faith in God is not to commit intellectual suicide rather it's see through a different pair of eyes and to think with a deeper intellect that is not our own.
I have to use quite a bit of intellect in my studies of the scriptures, I often times cannot just blindly believe what my eyes perceive the scriptures to say rather I have to cross reference each verse with other parts of the bible I have to do several different studies of what certain words mean by what we mean it to say in this day and age and what it meant back then and the time between the two.
Not only that but I would think it takes quite a bit of intellect to go and look at simple things that most would walk by and not have a second thought yet when you see it you learn quite a lot. For instance look at a simple flower sitting alone in the grass, you wold be amazed at how deep this image speaks of God and us.
Also for you information it doesn't take intellect to go and make a blog speaking of how un intellectual others are while claiming your own intellect with a username called truth seer in fact that makes you pretty un intellectual even people with noeducation and severe brain problems can do this.

Yes, I do believe that most Christians have entirely tossed aside the intellectual. It doesn't take a lot of intellect to compare Scriptures unless you're doing it from memory. I use the processes of logical analogy in my third book '2016 The Final Revelation'. In it I show that the Bible incorporates the laws of existence which also obtain the Lord Himself, the fullness of the law system. These laws are also found in the Creation, including plants including flowers.
