Quite simple.......NO and I thank God I am no longer under the curse of the Law. The Law is good in that it shows us all to be sinners. "As many as are of the works of the law are under the curse" Gal.3:10 and "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law" Verse 13

I can rest is his finished work and no longer have to do some thing, except believe him, love the brethren and keep his commandment. I am no longer tossed about by people who say you must do this or keep that law or do this, or worship on this day or that, ect. I am free from the things of this world and thank God who has done this.

"And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his son, JESUS CHRIST, and love one another, as he gave us commandment" 1 John 3:23

Believe in Christ, love the breather, keep his commandment and do good.

I believe only in Christ and his finished work. We worship an awesome, wonderful, God if so be he has given you his spirit to do so. I truly hope you belong to him not trusting in something you did, or will do. May God bless you as only he can do.
 
I see you're not a new member. I'm surprised that you didn't do an advanced search and discover that there's probably over 700 OP's with that same topic. Nevertheless, I won't be surprised if this one takes off just like the rest of them and snowball into a heated doctrinal debate that never comes to an amicable conclusion.

well this is much talked about but it is of great importance. Sound doctrine never grows old. As for a debate there is none on my part.

As threads are repeated so will my comments be...

"Why , when speaking of the OT covenant, does our minds go right straight to the Mosaic Covenant?
That covenant was conditional and to Israel only, predecated upon strict obedience.
If you're gonna hang out with an Old Testament Covenant it would better to look to the Abrahamic Covenant which coincides more closely to the New Covenant based on an unconditional promise and received by faith...the same way the New Covenant is.
Besides why would you want the curses of the Mosaic Covenant upon your head seeing you have already broken it?"

100% agreement here.
 
God's Law condemns unbelievers. It brings death. God's Grace redeems believers. It brings life. So those in Christ, no longer live under the Law, because they live in Christ.
