There's no judgment from me, mate. Seasoned Christians make that mistake. It's all good. Possibly it was a pomegranate, we don't know. That said, it's a tasty fruit but very fiddly to eat. So I don't know that it's the ideal candidate. It's all good. Maybe it's a fruit that no longer exists. :)

Okay i agree with that, but does the bible state all the ways that women are not like men. All the things women can't do?

The Bible states each of their roles within the family/household. There are things women are better and supposed to do that men can't or are not supposed to do and vice versa.

I don't get the impression that Eve did persuade Adam to disobey God. This is all the Bible says about that moment. I think Lillow has the right idea (although the fruit probably wasn't an apple).

[SUP]6 [/SUP]So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

Genesis 3:6

Yes..just like that Adam took and ate. Simply because Eve gave it to him. He had to have known that it was the forbidden fruit.Genesis 3:17.Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which( I commanded you saying, "You shall not eat of it.) What does that sound like to you? Because to me it sounds like Adam obeyed his wife instead of God. I'm going somewhere with this if you can just bear with me a little..Okay?? Now you may not agree with where I'm going and I can respect that.

Im going on a limb here to say that the fruit doesnt exsist amymore, but only because the fruit from the tree only grew on that specific tree in the garden of Eden. But idk

Okay Tintin point taken. I wont say it was 100% an apple in the garden

Well, they usually do most chores within the household and care for the children, while the men do things like protect the household and lead the church. There is more stuff on both sides im sure but that's all i can think of right now

I'm not sure where you're going with this. Yes, Adam knew it was the forbidden fruit. But it looked like the most appealing fruit in the garden because it was forbidden and looked super-tasty. And yes, he listened to Eve rather than to God. But she didn't need to tempt Adam for him to fall into sin. As I've already mentioned, he willfully chose to rebel against God by eating the fruit, along with his wife.

Right but like is it not okay for a girl to like provide for her family and the huband to stay at home and watch the kids?

No worries, mate. Thanks for the discussion. I enjoyed it. Yes, a mango sounds like a possible contender. I know that kind of fruit would've tempted me to eat of it!

Sure, if both husband and wife are okay with that arrangement. Or they could each work part-time and then each look after the children part-time.

I never said it was like wrong or shameful or anything to mix it up but a woman shouldn't lead the church

Grrrr... then there is really no line right? Besides what the bible says

It say not for women to lead the church in the bible unless there is no men

Oh, i get it now
It's okay if a woman teaches other women about the gospel or preach, and to children too, just not to men or both men and women
