I have no idea why you think @Edward429451 and I are "good friends", and as I stated in my post, I do not think there is sufficient Biblical evidence to support a pre-trib rapture. So I am not "taking his side".

Really, I'm just fed up with watching you pronounce to hell every person who may not fully hold to your doctrinal stance. It's unseemly and in contrast to James 4:12. Not to mention hypocritical, considering you have previously stated that women should hold no authority in church.

Yes, we could argue all day whether or not this counts as a "church" . The fact stands that you are using the site as a platform to teach and condemn. I hope you are prepared for the greater judgement that will come with such a position, self-appointed or not.

As for the verse you are using, perhaps Jesus is speaking of the "last day of tribulation", or perhaps He is speaking of the actual "last day" (judgement day, which you acknowledge comes well AFTER the last day of tribulation). Either way, I sincerely hope neither of us would stake our personal salvation on our personal opinion of that particular snippet of that particular verse. There are much better/more convincing passages you could be using to argue your stance.

And of course I care how you answer the question. It's not a "gotcha" at all. At least it SHOULDN'T be; any reasonably mature Christian ought to be able to come up with a long list of doctrinal differences that they can agree to disagree on, or at least give grace to the other person who might not have arrived at the right answer yet. Refinement is a process and nobody knows it all immediately, even with The Holy Spirits help. The only thing that really concerns me is hard-heartedness, and on that count I fear much more for others in this thread rather than @Edward429451

But yes, you are correct that building up our faith to endure to the end is important. I hope all in this thread will take that pursuit seriously.

That bible, if you study it, has a ton of disturbing things.
In judges an Israelite cut up his wife in 12 pieces and sent them to the 12 tribes.
In 2 kings Jesus had Jezebel cast down and he ran over her in his chariot.
In Matthew The King of the universe was beaten beyond recognition and nailed to a cross.

Really devisive stuff.
Outright disturbing.
Me saying what will happen soon will be more than the weak can take.
And yes Jesus himself said he came to divide.
Jesus mission was to be a divisive force.

Paul was divisive.
In the parable of the virgins they were divided.

Not only does postrib position lack a single verse, but it is readily proven impossible.

You should know by know that expressing your displeasure about me doesn’t phase me. Social pressure doesn't affect me for some reason. And it's not like I'm going against God's word. But i do make people feel uncomfortable about how they don't take God and His word seriously to obey Him as they should.

Anyway, I just don't want pre-tribbers panicking when they realize they're in the GT and they can't handle the persecution to come to God's people. A lot of professing Christians who will not prepare to endure in Christ will fall away. I know God will keep His own strong in Him, but even so, I don't think God would be happy about the those who fall away. And nether should we.

You also talk about judgement day as being the last day, but I repeat, why would God raise us up on this day when God already raises us up at the first resurrection to live with Jesus in the millenial age? That happens before judgement day.

Morever, would Jesus have said "judgement day" instead of "last day" since He was already so specific about what which people will not be lost?

Aren't you pre-trib? Nevertheless, are you building up your faith in the Lord to endure in the GT if you're wrong?

Because Jesus is Post-trib when He said plainly and clearly:

John 6:39 "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day."

There is no getting around Him saying that. If you belong to Him, build your faith up in Jesus to endure beginning now. Whatever happens to you in the GT, whether remaining alive or martyred, He will keep you from falling away from Him.


IF I discover this (watching for both) I will prepare accordingly. No big thing.

But i do make people feel uncomfortable about how they don't take God and His word seriously to obey Him as they should.

BEFORE this time the 'Restrainer' that's holding back this event is taken out so the 'lawless one' can take over. Is the Church Raptured or left to tell the world that's the antichrist?
And, who would have more power, the Body of Christ or the antichrist, if the Church is still here?
