no, it is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ or perish.
peter, you seem to know a lot about psychology. well, I am pretty sure most any psychologist would tell you that if one gets offended by simply being told that they are not sinless and perfect, that person is in some serious need of self-examination.
it is I who feel sorry for you. you have been coned into believing that you can be without sin. that is a lie. no human being is sinless. and you are a human being.
Lol. Where do you get the idea I am offended.
I am a sinner washed clean and now a saint. It is you who is getting upset about the gospel
of victory and overcoming.
You, by your words, admit you are neither clean or forgiven. That is unbelief, in your theology
an unforgivable sin.
Put simply you do not believe God and the cross.
You obviously do not understand what sin actually is, and live in a state of continual self
condemnation and lack of acceptance, as defined by your statement, no human being can be sinless.
Christ was a human being and sinless. That was the point. He demonstrated we have no excuses.
But you still do not get this simple point, that I understood as a teenager.
If you had real faith from Christ, you would see He accepts you as you are, and can wash you clean.
Sin is not inevitable or innate. That is the lie of the world and the lie of satan.
The cross says, yes you are loved, yes you can be clean, yes you are brought into the Holy of Holies.
So deep is this conviction of sin and unworthiness, it is hard to hear Jesus come and embrace us
as saved, made whole, purified, wonderfully made. Liars will always come and condemn the people of
the Kingdom and discourage them when they walk in love and righteousness.
I am not perfect nor know if I have become so, because that is Gods part, but I know I am washed
clean by the blood of the lamb. And I will rejoice each day that I can serve Him, Amen.
The anger here and hatred is on their part, not mine. Call me what you will, invent the biggest evils
you like, the gospel will always be the same, that light has come into the darkness and now we can
walk without stumbling, if we walk in the light.
