honestly i just had to make this thread, because i'm still puzzled and confused, how can people say there is no God when there is so much evil being manifested in plain sight it's ridiculous, they are countless satanism videos on youtube that even show the devil manifesting himself, i even got some friends who joined the lodge, i tried my best to convince them not too but the world got to them and guess what? yet still they don't believe there is a God, so there is only one thing i came up with.. people must be scared to believe or they are mentally trapped with disbelief, i urge you all.. to reconsider your action

God doesn't want you to be afraid to believe in Him or believe in Him because you are afraid not to.

What is there to be scared of? There's no mental trapping. I just can't believe an extraordinary claim without extraordinary evidence. There's nothing abnormal about that at all.

'Tis rather amusing in a sad way how folk don't believe in God because of all the evil that is around (if there is a God why does he allow it) yet meekly accept that evil is present. The difference is they think that humans must sort out evil themselves as it is within the power of mankind.

A nice but, sadly, naïve ideology. Take the Gay Lobbyists for example. So militant are they that they demand tolerance but deny tolerance to dissenters. They are blinded by their own arrogance and have, in fact, turned out to be the equal of the very kind of intolerance that persecuted homosexuals years before. They really aren't as bright as they think they are.

The other thing is that the secularists and atheists delight in telling us how the UK's Christian population is dying and we are now in a post God era. They love to proclaim how religion is the root of all evil. Yet, for all their beliefs that mankind can provide all the answers, evil deeds are as high if not higher than it has ever been. God has been removed so who do they blame now?

In fact, they have no answers accept to say that God does not exist. Which doesn't really make them any better than those who hold a faith.

But your indicitating that atheists think evil is a 'thing'. It's not. There is no power of evil or some single entity responsible for it. Bad things are done by people who have no compassion, no empathy, psychotic etc.

So for your argument to hold any weight then evil has to be an entity, and it's not.

There is evil in the world just like there is good...It's life and human nature.....It doesn't make a difference in what a person believes in....there will always be good and bad....most christians say the good is from God and the bad is from the devil but its easy to give credit to them....I usually blame the bad on the crazy person and the good on the good person because its real life, not God(good) and Devil (evil).....

i have always wondered how people can not see God in all the good and wonderful and beautiful things present in the world. How they can not feel His love in their hearts and see the wisdom of His ways.

I never really meditated too long on the evil or used it to convince others of why they should believe in God.

Do you remember the Prayer that asks "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." ?

I can't change people's hearts. I can't make them believe in God.

However I can tell them why I believe in God and perhaps have them see a different view of the world. I can pray for them that their hearts are changed and they experience God's love and understand Him.

Most atheists are not "scared to believe' they just find it illogical from their own personal experience. they don't recognize God's influence in their life and until they do, the best thing we can do is pray for them and testify of God's love and truth.
