Are you under the dominion of the leaders of this world or are you making difference (as it took place with Paul – ponder on Acts 27)?

• Pro 21:1 -> “The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.”.

I know that it is difficult to believe in this promise. After all, amidst many corrupt politicians that only take decisions against the population, it is incredible to think that the Creator control the decisions of the authorities. But He do.

Take a look at these three examples:

1 – Here, the Creator favored Ezra and Nehemiah before two heathen kings:

• Ezr 7:27,28 -> “Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the LORD that is in Jerusalem, and who extended to me his steadfast love before the king and his counselors, and before all the king's mighty officers. I took courage, for the hand of the LORD my God was on me, and I gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.
• Neh 1:11 -> “O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” Now I was cupbearer to the king.”.
• Neh 2:4,5 -> “Then the king said to me, “What are you requesting?” So I prayed to the God of heaven. And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers' graves, that I may rebuild it.”“.

2 – Here the Creator will induce all the nations (under the control of the 10 kings) to deliver their power to the antichrist:

• Rev 17:17 -> “for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.”.

3 – Here, the Creator made the Egyptians hate Israel:

• Psa 105:24,25 -> “And the LORD made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes. He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.”.

Nevertheless, when they repented and cried to the Creator (Judges 2:16-19), the Creator acted like this:

• Psa 106:44-46 -> “Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress, when he heard their cry. For their sake he remembered his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive.”.

So, instead of trying to fight against the leaders which the Creator put on us, the correct is to seek in Him to figure out His will for us and accept His leadership through these leaders. As Jesus said to Pilate:

• Joh 19:11 -> “Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.””.

Therefore, have a good day rendering yourself outright to the Creator. Doing this, you will be free of the dominion of your leaders, once it will be the Creator who will use them to guide in the right path (pore on Romans 8:28).
