That volcano in Iceland has erupted filling the air with ash clouds and toxic gases. Airports across Europe have grounded flights causing tens of thousands of passengers to be stranged for days or possibly weeks!
This will probably cost milllions of dollars to those counties airlines and countries affected.

The worst was the 1783 eruption of the Laki volcano, which spewed a toxic cloud over Europe with devastating consequences. At least 9,000 people, a quarter of the population of Iceland, died, many from the famine caused by the eruption, and many more emigrated. The cloud may have killed more than 20,000 people in eastern England and an estimated 16,000 in France.

My boyfriend lives in England....and something I mailed last week will not get there for who knows how long...as well as something I wanted to mail him this week.
