Are you worthy of praise the Creator?
• Psa 33:1 -> “Rejoice in Jehovah, O righteous ones; praise is becoming for the upright.”.
See that the praise is becoming for the righteous. One of the reasons can be seen below:
• Psa 33:3 -> “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with shouts of joy.”.
Once we need to praise with jubilation, how can we do this with the heart defiled by the sin? Recall that someone only can be elated and sturdy making the Creator joyful (Neh 8:10). And this happens when we do what is delightful to him. For instance:
• Psa 33:5 -> “He loves righteousness and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of Jehovah.”.
• Luk 15:7 -> “I say to you that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner who repents, more than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.”.
• Luk 15:10 -> “Likewise I say to you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”.
By the way: one of the reasons for which we can’t see the Creator’s goodness in the Earth is because, many times, we don’t like His justice and judgment. We hold on to His love so much that we forget that His correction is a proof of love (Prov 3:11,12).
Believe:
• Psa 33:16-18 -> “The king is not saved by a great army; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety; neither shall he deliver by his great strength. Behold, the eye of Jehovah is to those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy;”.
So, have a good day biding in the Creator (Ps 33:1) and in His mercy on us in behalf of people around us.
