I think there should be a section where people could post stories, essays, poetry, and discuss books and authors. Yes? No? Why or why not?

I agree. On another Christian site that I used to go on a bit, they had a section for these things you mentioned. I loved it because I wrote many poems, and getting feedback from others on the site was awesome... while also getting to read their stuff and comment on theirs! Great suggestion and I hope they actually do make a section for it!

I don't think a specific topic for poetry and prose would work. A separate board for it would be more organized.

That's been planned for a while actually, because I know a lot of people like to write poetry and stories and whatever. (My oldest son is now writing his own little novels now actually.) I guess one reason we didn't add a forum for that yet is because we were thinking about actually making a separate site for it, linked or integrated with CC. But okay if we simply make a forum here in CC for it, what should the forum be called?

Here's one possibility:

Christian Writing Forum

Any better idea for what to call it?

Okay well we could make a separate section of forums, called "Creative Writing" or "Christian Writing", or whatever. And in that section will be a specific forum for each kind of writing, such as "Inspired Poets".... and... what should the other ones be?
