So I went to the gastro doctor today and got some reality thrown at me that I needed, much to my father's dismay. I am currently 304 lbs and have issues with IBS.

Basically now I have to be on a diet of low fat, high fiber, no dairy, and lots and lots of exercise.

I also have been given probiotics, and a number for medically guided weight loss.

So basically, no big pills or surgeries needed thankfully. Will continue to post.

Basically now I have to be on a diet of low fat, high fiber, no dairy, and lots and lots of exercise.

I also have been given probiotics, and a number for medically guided weight loss.

So basically, no big pills or surgeries needed thankfully. Will continue to post.
I just made a thread about water I think it will help as when you drink lots of water you tend have to pee a lot and when you pee you basically are releasing calories. sorry to be gross just some health tips for ya babe ♥

Good to hear that no serious health issues. I know IBS isn't fun. I have it as well. And I take probiotics everyday.

When I have a bad flare-up, I do juicing and that seems to help. I don't have to do it that often, but I am about to do a 1-2 week juice only again probably next week. I've been eating too many sweets and they are serious culprits for flare-ups.

I'll pray for a successful journey back to health, Stephanie!!! Hugs!!!

And Blain, you're too sweet!!!

But just to let you know that too much water can be detrimental. You can loose too many electrolytes for one thing.

Also, a nurse warned me once to be careful on the 8 glasses of water each day because fluid can build up on the brain. I haven't looked into it, but since she's a nurse, I took her word for it.

Interesting!

My dad had actually suggested a liquid/soft food diet for a while, so juicing isn't that far off! As long as there's lots of healthy things and fiber. Definitely something to consider....

IBS is why I became a nutritionist. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I have helped
many people with this.
The ones that followed
my directions were able to live like they never had and like they were disease free.
But there is a lot of discipline and perseverance needed to achieve that state.

this is going to be a fun thread. Already I have really appreciated the video on seeds, I have eaten the whole apple for a long time, crunching the seeds to get that cherry like flavor of the cyanide.

So since last week this much has happened: dad got his 3rd chemo, I had an endoscopy (where everything was fine) and also I have been trying to do at least an hour of walking a day. Oddly enough I have the most fun on the treadmill watching the Great British Bake Off XDDD That and I have been doing zumba, lifting with small weights and gallons of water, and today also a little kickboxing.

Long story short: been doing stuff at least once a day for about 4 days so it's good.
