Read the title the questions are supposed to be biblical, but you dont care about the op or others. You just want to make a mockery of the truth. That doesn't answer the question.

bumped for toirniuilThe original point was to help a few who just got to know me understand where I was coming from, and to help anyone who had a biblical question. However some have come in a purposely tried to highjack and sidetrack the thread because of the carnality and hatred of the truth.
However if you or anyone has a biblical question, whether it is something you have been struggling with understanding or if you just want to what I believe on a subject, you are welcome to ask away.
I do pray that our discourse will bring us both/ all of us closer to a knowledge of Christ

I am not a part of any church. I teach a new convert class out of my home on Monday, have a fellowship dinner and bible study out of my home on Thursdays. I go to a bible study at a local church of God on Wednesday. I go so a Church service at the prayer Furnace in Fredricksburg on some Fridays, and I attend a home church at a mentor of mine home on Sunday nights. I believe when Jesus tells us to come out from among them in Revelation 18 He was referring to the local traditional, instatutional protestant church.
Not that i think every local church is evil or every home church is correct. It's not the church building that makes a gathering wicked. You can gather in a barn or in your living room, or in a park, but if the doctrine of Christ isn't being presented in Spirit and Truth, you really haven't "come out of her." Some have left the churches and started their own, but they have brought out the same teachings they left behind.
We must teach the doctrine of Christ not of man, and teaching it in the Spirit of truth, regardless of what Church we attend.
Long story short. I am a member of the remnant of true believers, the true Church of Christ. with no affilition with any institutional church.
No I do not, first of all faith alone is only used in scripture once, and that is to say we ARE NOT justified by faith alone James 2:24, secondly grace alone cannot be the case because we must respond to God's grace in faith. Sola scripture is not the case because the word must be spiritual discerned, the word itself tells us that. The word without the Spirit is nothing. Christ alone, I cant argue with that, and of course all glory goes to God. So no i do not. Further I would suggest you dont. How can you have 5 solas, if they are all solo. The fact that there are 5 of them is self disproving, just like the statement there is no absolute truth. i would ask is that absolutely true? It is self disproving as is have 5 solas. You affirm the five solas?

You said you're beliefs are biblical. I only see one verse citd, and it doesn't carry the weight you want it to.No I do not, first of all faith alone is only used in scripture once, and that is to say we ARE NOT justified by faith alone James 2:24, secondly grace alone cannot be the case because we must respond to God's grace in faith. You are right I only believe what the bible says that is why I do not believe the man made teaching of the reformers that you are pushing. So you want scripture. ok, so let go with this. I believe in Christ alone, and glory to God alone, which is not a contradiction as Jesus is God. So let post scripture that disprove the other three. You said you're beliefs are biblical. I only see one verse citd, and it doesn't carry the weight you want it to.
1) Faith alone- James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.(We ARE NOT justified by faith alone)
“...James is dealing with people who profess to be Christians, and yet they don't evidence the reality of their faith by their works [deeds]. Over, and over again... people will say they have faith and they don't have works, and James is saying that real faith always produces works as a result... The question is, 'A man may say that he has faith, but will that faith justify him?' If it is just a 'said' faith”—no, it won't!” (D. James Kennedy in“Irreconcilable Differences,” a roundtable discussion and television broadcast, Ft. Lauderdale FL, 1995)

Ligonier said:Authentic faith means that we become doers of the Word and not hearers only (vv. 19–25). Obedience flows from authentic faith and is expressed in the bridling of the tongue and the equal respect of all believers regardless of financial status (1:26–2:8). Those who do such things act in accordance with the “royal law” of Christ, and because of their living faith, they can look forward to the mercy that they shall receive from the throne of grace (vv. 9–13).
You may have noticed that thus far in his epistle, James has dealt harshly with those who, while claiming to be Christians, are not doing good works based on the “royal law” of Scripture. Implicit throughout the verses preceding today’s passage is the assumption that true faith always produces good works.

Grace through faith... That's not grace+faith. It is by authentic faith that we receive grace.2) Grace alone.- Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. (looks like grace+faith to me)
Is this supposed to refute Sola Scriptura? Sola Scriptura is that we are to use scripture alone as the basis of doctrine, beliefs about God, etc etc.3) Scripture alone. 1st Corinthians 2:14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. (The word must be spiritually discerned)
I would agree that any extra biblical doctrine has no real foundation, and any doctrine that opposes scripture is false. Is this supposed to refute Sola Scriptura? Sola Scriptura is that we are to use scripture alone as the basis of doctrine, beliefs about God, etc etc.
If by ''scripture alone'' you mean that we should only believe what can be confirmed by scripture, then I would 100% agree. But you should also agree someone reading the word without the Spirit of God guiding them will come to false assumptions.I would agree that any extra biblical doctrine has no real foundation, and any doctrine that opposes scripture is false.
I suspect this is where you charge me of being without the holy spirit. If by ''scripture alone'' you mean that we should only believe what can be confirmed by scripture, then I would 100% agree. You assume to much bro, why would I do that?I suspect this is where you charge me of being without the holy spirit.
The question should be grace alone or faith aloneSo are we saved by grace alone, or grace alone, or both?
And if it is one or the other then the one we are not saved by whether faith or grace shouldn't be part of the solas, and if both then they are not sola at all?
Right????
Grace alone through faith alone in christ aloneThe question should be grace alone or faith alone
Thats sounds reasonable, but what about obedience?Grace alone through faith alone in christ alone
Thats sounds reasonable, but what about obedience?
Jesus says If you love me you will obey me.
Grace alone through faith alone in christ alone
