Nice is good, but to nice. No so good. To nice is boring. No woman wants to be bored to death

Its not good to always be so reachable. It gets dull and boring once again. When your ALWAYS there.

Women generally want men that will come after them like hector said, but not in a stalkerish way.

Do NOT talk about other women while trying to date one...

Make sure and NEVER look at other women while you are out with the girl your dating. That is a BIG no no

dont be pushy!

last but not least. do NOT try to kiss a girl if your breath stinks!

And dont forget rkmonkey,

You can only wear blue pants if you havent worn brown the Tuesday before you last sent her a textmessage. Oh! and you can only pronounce 15 sweet words to her a day, since girls like sweet but not too sweet. Talk about your adventures but only in intervals of 15 seconds, since girls like to hear about adventures, but not too much. If you are going to touch her hair, make sure it's with your left index finger and keep your left hand in your pocket, since girls like to see hands, but not too much

To nice almost where your dull. You let the girl walk all over you, because your to nice to stand up to her. So nice that you have no opinion, its always ohh what do you think, and whatever she thinks is what you think.

Are you implying that if a girl says "no" she might still mean "yes", but want you to keep pursuing her?

Girls are so frustrating.

No's are Yes's but not too much. Sometimes they are no, but not at all times. You need to really have that third eye in your forehead, you know, the one that sees the fourth dimension of girls.

Hector im sure can tell you about giving up to easily. If something bad goes down between you two, dont just throw your hands up and walk away, if you like someone you stick with it. Sometimes no means yes, with women you can never tell, like... are you mad, NO when obviously were really mad!

Oh, I think I know what you mean. I tend to be pretty indecisive in my attempts to be nice during the early stages of a relationship and don't really tend to try to make any sort of stand of my own. I tend to say "what would you like to do" or "no you should decide", for instance. It is probably something I should work on a bit, I suppose.

yes, i would work on that if i was you. Its nice to be considerate of the other person, but sometimes it just gets to be to much.

I think that is something that will always get me about girls. I tend to be a very literal person (I can't help it, it just happens) and I tend to take people at their word. Sometimes people will use a figure of speech and I can't help but trying to imagine what they meant literally and taking it that way sometimes. If a girl says she isn't mad, I'm probably going to believe her unless her tone of voice or facial features definitively say otherwise.

That's called being a good believing person since you still trust people. Nothing wrong with that. Just out of curiosity, what is that you like of this girl?

im actually the same way myself.

Well, I suppose it simply comes down to me simply enjoying spending time with her. We seem to have similar interests, yet we're different enough that we have our own things to like. That was a problem I had with my last relationship. We were TOO similar, and I found it annoying because we kept thinking and saying the same things. There were several other issues, but in the end I just couldn't stay in that relationship.

Also, I suppose something I really like is just that I found myself comfortable with her right away when I met her. I generally take a little while before I open up around new people but with her I felt like I could be myself right away. That I find her attractive doesn't hurt, either, of course.

You can be yourself around her, you enjoy spending time with her, she's attractive. Is she human????????

Haha, pretty sure she is :p

Saw her last night for the first time in 2 months. We didn't get to talk much as it was a worship event on the beach (and a lot of fun). It was actually raining most of the time so we were all pretty soaked. It was great. My ride had to leave about an hour and a half before it was over, which was a bummer. I'm getting my car registered tomorrow which I'm excited about. I'll finally be able to get myself wherever I need to go. heh. Drove myself to church this morning which was awesome. Didn't even get lost (the expressway confuses me. My city has a really horrible set up and the roads don't really make any sense).

If she's free tomorrow there is a good chance that we will be able to hang out together. If we do, I'll probably post here about it. haha. When I asked her if she wanted to do something, I left it open ended (not on purpose though) as to whether or not there would be other people involved. Her twin sister would probably go too, and maybe her little brother. She and her twin sister are nothing alike, including appearance wise. This is good, as I would get very confused if I was interested in an identical twin. Too hard to tell some twins apart.

Anyway, I'd still be interested in what people might have to say about my original post. It's been almost two years since I've asked anyone out at all, so I feel a little clueless.

annnnnd it fell through. Lame. We were going to go to the park, but her sister is stranded somewhere. This isn't going to work out very well if I never get to see her x-x

Oh well. I honestly was a bit nervous about doing that much driving anyway at the moment. I really need more experience, and having a girl I like in my car (which I've only driven around the block so far. I think I'll go for a drive around right now actually) might be too distracting at the moment. My chances would look pretty bad if I got us in a terrible car wreck.

Haha, yes, having a girl you like in your car can be very dangerous.

You seriously think it can be distracting? What would you do? stare at her all the time?

Anyway, it sucks when plans dont work out as you planned them, but it seems you're a very positive guy looking at the bright side of things. Did you reschedule?

Actually, it did end up happening. Just got home. I was fine driving. Haha. And of course I wouldn't stare o-o I'm not creepy. A little socially awkward, but not creepy.

I was just concerned about my driving because I just got my license 2 weeks ago, and I only have about a months worth of driving experience. I've noticed in the past that I'm good at letting conversations get in the way of my driving. The only thing that really did mess me up is that their dad (I picked one up from their dad's, the other from their mom's) lives right next door to a police station, and it was on an awkward one way street that was hard to turn onto, with police cars parked all over the street. It made me a little anxious, haha.

Yeah... it's starting to seem like maybe she's actually just really nice to everyone. In fact, that she's comfortable around me might simply be because she isn't interested in me. I don't know. I've not given up on the idea or anything, but I think I'm going to focus on getting to know her a bit better for now as a friend.

We all had fun. We just sort of walked around the park talking about all sorts of things. It was cool. Then we swung on a swing set for about 45 minutes and just talked some more, and then I brought them both home and then came home myself. Hopefully it can happen again in the near future.

simply when u go out with her and the other siblings pull her aside at the right time and tell her how you feel and that yourinterested in dating her. She obviously has some interest so just try it.

This post is 2 1/2 years old. So i don't think your advice will do much good. Also, the original post is not even a member of this site any longer. Look at the top left of each post to see when it was posted, this way you don't respond to dated posts.

Also, if there is no flag, join date, age, number of posts, rep power, member ranking, and it says 'guest' that means the person is no longer on the site.
