The last thread i posted was titled "Encouragement" and i am in a way "bouncing" this thread off of it.

While we are here on this earth we as Christians have so much against us. God has in a way given this world over to satan. This is not taking away from Gods Sovereignty, but He is allowing satan "rulership" of earth. God is allowing satan certain "clearances" in the world but God is curbing him quite a bit (though we do not fully understand).

Due to this there is much sorrow and tears in our lives. We often get overwhelmed and feel as if we are left to ourselves. But God is not far off. Thru the prophet Isaiah God tells the Isrealites to "fear not" (Isaiah 43:1). And He also tells us the same. We are not to fear the things of this world because God is ultimately in control and nothing is done without His consent (though we do not fully understand).

When Jesus assended into Heaven He sent to us the Holy Spirit as our guide, teacher comfortor and councelor (John 16:7) (obviously much more to list). God tells Joshua "I will never leave you nor forake you" (Joshua 1:5). He speaks this to us also as His children. As when we were young we found comfort in our parents arms we can also find comfort and protection in the arms of Jesus.

When the world becomes to much to bear we need do nothing but stop and pray. Our prayer need not be elaborate or drawn out with big words. All we need is a heart for God and the word "HELP!" (capitalized because often we are screaming for help). If our heart is truly aligned with God then He will send help. This doesnt mean it will be immediate but that God will quiet our heart. Just ten seconds is often what it takes to slow our heart if we will but only give that ten seconds to God.

Later when we are alone we can quiet ourselves down and spend more time in prayer. In the "heat of the moment" all we need is ten seconds. But we often forget that because of how quick paced this world has become. But no matter where we are, God is with us. Ten seconds is not that long but in that ten seconds God will assure us that He is with us. He is there even if we dont "feel" Him.

Be assured that God is with you.

God gave Adam dominion over the earth and Adam gave it to the devil, not God.

Jesus reigns upon His heavenly throne over both heaven and Earth.

I don't understand why people think Satan is in power in Earth.

He is just a mob boss or pirate stealing and enslaving people whenever he can. His power is in people's fear of him and their belief in his lies that enslave them.

The rest is really good and I agree with it:

In 2 Cor 4:4 the ptase "god of this world" indicates that satan is tge major influence on views of the majority of people. Thoughts, ideas, false religions ect are under his control. Satan is also called the "prince of the power of the air" in Eph 2:2. And in John 12:31 he is called "ruler of this world".

God is still Sovereign but He has given satan dominion over unbelievers only. Satan does not have ultimate authority but in Gods wisdom and Sovereignty He has given him certain power in this world. We must not attribute too much power to satan but we must also not neglect that he has certain power here. In Gods wisdom He is working all of this for His glory in a way we do not fully understand. We as Christians may have a sinful nature but unlike nonChristians we have the guidance and lrotection of the Holy Spirit and God assures us of that throughout Scripture. In a way you could call satan a "puppet king" because somehow God is using him for His glory.

Again, in all that we go thru here in this world we can rest assured that God will never leave us or forsake us because we have placed our trust and faith in Jesus Christ.

It rather suggests that the world has chosen its own way which aligns with that of Satan.

Thoughts, ideas, false religions ect are under his control.

His influence, yes, His control, no.

Satan is also called the "prince of the power of the air" in Eph 2:2.

which might suggest that THERE is where his power base is.

And in John 12:31 he is called "ruler of this world".

It is arguable that the actual rulers of this world are in mind.

God is still Sovereign but He has given satan dominion over unbelievers only.

He has allowed him to have influence over them. How far he has dominion is questionable,

Satan does not have ultimate authority but in Gods wisdom and Sovereignty He has given him certain power in this world

true the power of influence,

We must not attribute too much power to satan

exactly.

but we must also not neglect that he has certain power here

true, but limited.

In Gods wisdom He is working all of this for His glory in a way we do not fully understand. We as Christians may have a sinful nature but unlike nonChristians we have the guidance and lrotection of the Holy Spirit and God assures us of that throughout Scripture.

Amen.

I agree with puppet, not so much with King.

Again, in all that we go thru here in this world we can rest assured that God will never leave us or forsake us because we have placed our trust and faith in Jesus Christ.

Amen.
