Atheist allowed to wear pasta strainer in official ID

If the pasta strainer is a religious head covering then he should have to wear it every day in public. Obviously he is not doing this, therefore it can not be deemed to be a religious requirement and he should have been refused the request.
 
Better to be thought of as a fool than to have an ID photo that removes all doubt.

If they want to look like a fool on their ID photo then go for it. One day they might grow up and be embarrassed to have that photo as their ID.
 
Laugh if he gets refused entry or to leave country on the account he is not wearing a strainer on his head.
 
I find nothing clever about these fools. It doesn't make much of a statement to me.

So I guess...they are fine with Moslem hijab now? We are no longer going to her winey little, peeing their pants scared, atheists moan on and on about moslems right???

*facepalm* my little sister who left Christianity now identifies As a follower of "the Flying Spaghetti Monster. She claims that he "boiled for our sins" and "touches those who follow him with his noodle appendages." *double facepalm*
 
Ya... not seeing the portance. Now if he'd decided to go retro with shower curtain clothes that would be one thing.
 
a pasta strainer probably was not the best adjective to use for this device. I would say...

brain sifter...

would be more accurate
 
I'm not getting the message at all here.

While I am opposed to people having to wear things because their religion dictates it, this just makes atheists look like fools
