Just saw a report on this today.........from what I heard, this all started over an argument about a parking space.....goodness. As for the three young victims? Sure, any Christian should be saddened by their needless slaughter, and pray for their families.

As difficult as it may be to accept, we also need to pray for this guy...........

Well isn't that a tad judgmental? I actually haven't heard this news story as my TV is on the blink. I think its too early for anyone to know what happened other than 3 people were killed.But I'll tell what I morn David.I morn that these people died without knowing a loving God. I morn that Allah deceived them and they believed his lies. I morn that they didn't know the Jesus who loved them and died for their sins on a cross. That is what I morn. And if the church spent less time bickering among themselves and less time on things that don't matter in eternity,if they focused on the lost the way William Booth did we'd see less people believing false gods. The church needs to stop looking inward and start looking outward to a dying world.We need action,not words.I fully expect to be blasted for this one.But its how I feel.
 
There is nothing that I can do post fact on the murder. I would support the proper penalty for the murderer. I have seen some news coverage of the family using their religious affiliation as cause for the severity of the crime. Seems they hope to profit in some fashion from this.

Three souls departed this world wholly unprepared for what awaits them. Even sadder is that many more depart every day with the same fate awaiting them. Some religious and some without religion but all without the forgiveness of Christ.

Wow, there's a lot of ascribing motives and hearts to other people on this thread.

But I tell you the truth, I don't mourn for these people, not really. But it's not because they were Muslims, it's simply because I didn't know them. Had it been 3 Muslims who lived in my apartment complex, I would mourn for them.

But that's the way we are. We all sort of realize that tons of people die everyday, and the vast majority of them don't make the nightly news. As long as we don't know them personally, we feel we can gloss over the actual loss of life and move on to the political ramifications of their deaths.

I'm not right, but I'm saying that's the way it is. But to condemn the entire site over the reaction on this thread is just north of looneycakes. I mean, if you're angry that some seem to be using this tragedy to go off on the media, isn't it also possible that YOU are using the occasion of this tragedy to show your own hyper-compassion while denigrating others?
 
I have a friend who was friend's with the accused's ex-wife. He was an ex-Iranian war vet, and diagnosed as mentally ill. He may or may not have targeted these young people because they were Muslims. It wouldn't surprise me with all the anti-Muslim rhetoric in the American press these days. These three college students were Americans, not ISIS!

So sad these three young people were murdered without knowing Christ. Mentally ill or not, the accused, if convicted needs a heavy sentence!
