avatar block?

is there a way to block an offensive/annoying avatar? i tried ignoring them but it didnt work.

if you put a person on ignore, their entire post is hidden I think

otherwise there is probably some sort of software you can use, but that would normally mean blocking all pictures of a site

whose avatars do you find offensive and why? If you feel their inapropriate, you can report them BUT that's no guarantee that the mods will ask the person to change it..

If it's the avatar I think it is, it's not offensive, so much as annoying.

Yes. In forums if you put someone on ignore it blocks their avatar as well.

its not offensive. i shouldnt have said that im sorry. its just annoying. the flashy/moving pics make it hard to focus when writing.

If you download Web Developer Toolbar you can "block" images of any website you visit
(it also allows you to disable java / javascript)

once installed, Select:

Images -> Disable Images -> Disable image animations
it should stay active until you turn int off again, for all pages you visit.

If that person is looking at the post in this thread maybe she/he will change but in her/his defense there has been other avatars that were stylized/standout.

we all should respect each other sometimes it can be anoinying for others I don't find it so but we all should concider others first rather than ourselves as Christ Jesus did I know this is about a pic but well what does God say be selfless I would change my pic if others found it anoinying or dicracting to a digree.
