Thanks for posting that link Alex. I like watching things that encourage healing. Have you ever watched any of the Dan Mohler or Mike Miller videos?

Hi, Ruby123! I haven't heard of those ministers, but I'll have to check them out! Thank you for sharing. What did you think about the Healing Journey videos?

I was helping out with some dishes and apparently that put undue strain on my back. It started out as just strain, but now is in full blown spasm mode (lower back)

It has been harrowing and I have prayed about it for sure, but additional support would be nice. I can't afford to go to the hospital so just laying on the bed is really my only option. I had to lay on the floor last night (for 20hrs) trying to get the bathroom.

Regardless, I would guess the pain I just have to deal with but mentally being trapped on a bed all day (this makes day 3) doesn't exactly produce the best mindset. I feel alone and bored to distraction but there isn't one. So just pray for my mental sanity and the fortitude to just sit still until it's over.

It's like being imprisoned and it's not productive. Whatever is laid on your heart. It snowed here for the first time this year and i really wanted to see but 90% of the time I can't even sit up. So it melted before I could see it. First world problems maybe but the good news is a pain management specialist Louisville can get you back on your feet quickly with the right treatment plan and if you feel a burden, lift it up. thanks.
That is genuinely rough and three days trapped in bed is no small thing, missing the snow on top of it makes it worse. That is genuinely rough and three days trapped in bed is no small thing, missing the snow on top of it makes it worse. You are likely at or near the worst of it. Acute back spasms typically peak around day 3 and then start improving. Keep heat on it consistently, take ibuprofen regularly if you have it and stay on the floor with knees bent when the pain is worst as that position actually relieves spinal pressure better than the bed. The mental side is just as real as the physical. Put on a podcast or show just for background noise, it makes the hours pass much easier.

U definitely need an X ray of your lumbar region which comprise , hips and lower back . I suffered terribly for years until I finally got an X ray and found out the cause . Once u know what is causing it u will feel much better mentally and emotionally . There is no real treatment for what I have other than pain killers and a few lifestyle adjustments but, it has helped me so much to understand what is going on . Please , find a way to get that X ray , it will help u enormously .
