You speak... Maybe talk more or less. You hear, maybe too much of the same song, etc. You see maybe too little wrestling, too much humanity. Solomon I believe spoke of this. Get some more play in your routine. Cut back on the work. Wrestle. Get more or less physical. Now.. Look at boxing... Right off the bat... It's good or bad. Same for football. Or baseball. Such an unnecessary risk, those sports. That's why I like basketball if anything. I mean, and fellow countrymen doing it... And so much of the country advocating it... Even the church. No? It would be one thing of they were winning a war by stepping into that ring and on to that field.. And as a soldier knew that the their contenders were enemies of all humanity. I am pretty sure that the body is to be well taken care of. I don't see how hitting someone in the face until their eye splits open and their nose is broken fits the Church.

Half full, half empty.... which one are you.

Head injury due and I've heard death due to speed of ball[/QUOTE

many basketball players are injured, I can remember 3 within the past year. One player fell and smashed his face into the floor.
Should we stop doing anything that has any risk at all ??

Well. Maybe where there is not just risk, but certainty. To me, I've gathered from personal conversation to whatever else, boxer's whole aim is to knock the other guy or woman out. That can't be good. I almost wonder if it's certain.. Box and get an injury. I kinda want to say I would never go against somebody who absolutely attempted to knock me out. And I guess I wouldn't play baseball. Now, it might be my own problem, but I wonder how many times I've hit people with the ball or almost did. Anytime I've been at work and I've found myself certain to sustain injury without modification... Well I eliminate possibility. And their are some injuries which I'd much prefer to receive. Give me the broken nose over the broken skull. Give me the scrape or broken cheek bone over death. It would be great if people were more about injury avoidance in all they do. It might really show respect. I mean I have found myself being told I was slapping a hand too hard in basketball. I felt bad about it.... Determined never to do it again. I mean, I know some pain is unavoidable, like growing pains.

What do you mean smashed? Like they got broken cheek bones, teeth, or jaws?

As I remember the player jumped in the air to try and get the ball and was hit and came down face first into the floor.
He sustained injury to his mouth, but I do not know the extent.
