Why do you want this? Why would you not want to be in a Christian band? Do you play and instrument or sing?
I played professionally in a rock/blues band for 7 years before God saved me. It was the worst time in my life. It is all about ego, and fame and glory.
The glory belongs to God alone. I will pray that God will open your eyes that you should not be worshiping this false god of stardom in a band. And that God will not answer your prayer to get pulled into this life of sin and degradation.
Sorry, you need to learn the truth about what you are asking. Once you have seen bands with lines of cocaine in the hotel room, and see them drinking 5ths of whiskey, you know you are on the very wrong path, Christian or not!

are you saying all secular music is wrong? if so I disagree. Not every musician is a drug addict or alcoholic. Secular music are words of feeling and emotions that do come from pain or joyful moments etc. there is nothing wrong with releasing your feeling through music
Also, I just went and played with a worship band . I played with them a couple of times. They didnt tell me their church service was 4 hours long and play only 3 songs. I called the leader to ask him questions about this project he Never called me back.

Furthermore, guess I'm perturbed about your comment Angela. I have already been in a couple rock bands and NO ONE did lines of coke or whiskey ok maybe they had one beer. really nothing wrong with one beer. These were all Married, Faithful Men with Day Jobs and kids and grandkids that just want to have fun and entertain people who have worked all week and want some entertainment. Really Nothing wrong with that!
