I just wanna say that all this talk about people being banned is very derpressing. If someone is a Satanist or something then that is OK, but to be honest, I am a little scared sometimes to contribute in case I get banned for saying something....... I dont have a grudge or anything, I dont know who the modereators are or anythng, but it just doesnt produce a friendly atmosphere.

I understand that this might mean that nutters post who annoy others, but thats the same with every board on the net.

I see what you mean! I just read this whole thread today and I could tell who is a moderator - or at least a couple of folks. These people have never misled me or anything but it's a link I wasn't aware of. It's like a bunch of good friends turned out to be FBI or the police or whatever and have been watching you all along. Not exactly waiting for you to trip up, but ready to pounce all the same.

I understand the need for that but just now knowing at least one or two of the moderators and the link they have with other members that I know of is a little disconcerting (didn't say creepy - I didn't). It's not dishonest. It's not like I asked one of them and they lied, just that I was naïve a little and that was just used a little.

You know what? I came here to this site to get some answer about my dad. He died unexpectedly and I don't think he was a Christian so I go to the bible discussion and a couple of other forums to get answers because I just can't imagine a God that would everlastingly torture a soul because he didn't acknowledge God to some level that PEOPLE think you should . Well - to be honest, I got answers - about 10 different places my dad went. Since then I met some good people on other forums and stuck around because there isn't a bunch of relentless cussing and BLANK this and that on some chat sites and not so nosey at FB and I didn't like spreading myself all over anyway. I'm not looking for anything but reading this I feel like a little bit of a fool! Nothing new there.

If someone is banned, what is going to stop them from creating a new account with a different email ? ^_^
 
The admins. have a way of knowing. Techie stuff. Sometimes they do not catch them immediately, but they do catch them if they make a new account.

I am sorry to hear that you worry about being banned. Chatters are not banned arbitrarily - they are banned because they broke the CC rules - http://christianchat.com/rules.php. And even after they are banned, there is an appeal process.
